I am always amazed at the amount of machinery that the farm has and the large number of people standing there packing the corn. Quite the large organization. Great presentation of the pumpkins. Necessary to get good prices for them. Excellent husbandry to grow the huge amount of produce that you grow and good marketing.

Hi Molly. Back home safe in Ontario. It was so nice to meet you yesterday at the store. It was the highlight of my 3,000 Mi ride 🏍through the USA and the East Coast of Canada. Sorry I didn't get to see Aunt Michelle 😢 on my way home, but let her know I said hello❤and the zip up Hoodie fits way better, LOL😂 The ride through your neighborhood yesterday and today, up through New Hampshire and Vermont, was absolutely gorgeous, with the leaves starting to change. Fall is in the air! It was a great vacation all around. I will definitely stop by again my next trip through. Mark, from Canada 🇨🇦 ✌️

Hey Molly, great videos as always, I noticed you said this was the first year of you guys growing pumpkins I was wondering if you had heard about putting the pumpkins on a wood pallet or any kind of a pallet just to get them off the ground when you go to sell them at the store if they’re outside. It’s supposed to help keep the moisture off the bottom of the pumpkin, so it won’t rot as fast. Not trying to be a smart a*s.
@BellsFarming5 күн бұрын
Hey there, the farm has grown pumpkins for many years, this was just my first year planting them and harvesting. You’re right about putting g them on pallets. I generally do that, funny thing about putting pumpkins out front of the store. We will have to move them a couple times. The doors they are in front of are potato storage bins. these will be on display there for a few weeks, then we will have to move them so we can start filling storage. Haha I know, bot the ideal setup! Hahah

I watch all your vids. I bet Walmart likes them. Umm… did you ever try using a leaf blower to clean up after packing corn. I use mine for garage clean out after doing a carpentry project. You’d need a good sized blower to move corn shucks and mess but the blower will improve on those wide floor brooms I ibetcha. This pumpkin vid is actually gorgeous with all the orange color. Was in landscaping for a while and found that the Stihl 400cfm hand held blower was better for my back than the stronger backpack ones. That cost me $400.
