Good spot to farm early in the game! Also to save your cushions you can fast travel to Oliver’s farm, there is a bench there that allows you to rest w/o wasting any cushions😄

I know I'm late to the party, but the whole clickbait "secret boss" is annoying. If you literally do what the games asks you to do, you will run into it. It may be a good EXP farm for early game, but it isn't a secret.

if you finish the world intel in grasslands you end up being level 22. Took me about 8 hours roughly but depends how efficient you are, I took a fair amount of breaks. i think people are mixing up this game with ff15, in terms of grinding

When i saw this boss, i left it alone till i did all the other small side quest stuff. By then my guys was level 21. Just before the snake boss battle. Ive decided its time to beat this bird. Then ive decided to level up to 26 by farming him. Once done ive headed to the snake boss story.

I farmed that fight on dynamic difficulty with Cloud using the Auto Unique ability materia. Shiva summons equipped and I put it on Classic mode. This makes Cloud do perfect parry & blocks in punisher mode. I had Aerith & Barret in the team. Aerith had auto-cast ice. Barret had elemental linked with ice and the second Auto Unique orb so he could trigger Overcharge automatically. Dynamic difficulty gives you a boost to XP/AP earned.

Im one of these that love exploring everything i can and completing the area before i progress so i came across this fight very easy and defeated it while i was level 18, pretty sure i didnt have to summon shiva either.. aerith with arcane ward and ice materia 👍

waste of time, if you just do the intel in the area you are around 21/22 before the zolom fight without having to fight this thing more than once. No point wasting time killing this thing over and over when you get way more than enough exp from everything else.

I mean i started this game 2 days ago and almost lvl 30 and i finished grasslands intel and junon intel (last one I did only after getting the chocobo before the sea monster...and i did it so far in 15ish hours, its an objective everyone gets and need to do for a quest.....the only reason i see to grind is to level up materia but even with the ap up materia , its not necessary.....the games well balanced

Weird, the Queza doesn't seem to drop any exp after the first battle for me :/ Is there a limit or a max level after which there are diminishing returns or something along the line?

Same. Killed it once got 750 exp some materia upgraded, killed 3 more times....nothing. Not much of an exp farm

You don't need to spam magic attacks once an enemy's pressured. That's what each character's focus attack is for

I don't that counts as a secret boss. You'll encounter that area doing chadly missions. You need to get a crafting part from that boss to help the lady turn on the windmill.

You can't farm this monster for XP, anymore doesn't net anywhere close to 1200 XP. It's possible Square patched the game prior to release. Ive fought hundreds of monsters and XP is very low in grasslands and Junon. This XP system feels similar to FF15 and FF16 not Remake which is a shame. Im guessing XP Boosting Materia isn't till much later in the Game.

ure wasting time grinding early on as the game is easy enough as it is. just play normally but loot every chests, do all side quests and beat all non story bosses. at the end of the game u can easily reach 70 with a much better way to grind. then, if u complete the game u get x2 exp and x3 ap and hard mode where all enemies at level 70. when it comes to pc modders are already ready to mod the hell outta it to increase level limit to 99 for players as well as for enemies.
