interesting that you keep the mulch in the zone near the trunk, we normally keep it at the drip line of the tree

We like to cover the soil above the root system to keep the soil moist and support soil life. We also see this naturally, under the trees the soil is thickly covered from the base of the trunk until the drip line as the tree mulches itself with its dry leaves.

What a lovely selection! I assume you have been eating those fruits and then collecting their seed while travelling in different countries around the world ? These fruits are available at local markets in South America (f.e. brazil) and in South East Asia rather than in Costa Rica. It seems that expats bring more and more tropical fruit varieties from Asia into Costa Rica and start planting them in their fruit forests, and that way, introduce more variety into the grounds of Costa Rica. What is your favorite country with the most variety of rare tropical fruits ?

Our favorite area for rare fruits is Borneo, Malaysia.

Mango seedlings will fruit more heavily with pruning, otherwise they become to tall to pick the fruit.

Thanks Daniel for your input. We were very careful with pruning however our experience and others feedback showed we should prune more of our trees. In our next video we prune a Mango that really needed it and we practice it to be better😇
