Best method for this is maybe Shao Khan, Mournful Kitana and Spectral Ermac. Shao Khan gets X-ray instantly with his gears and Kitana's passive, Spectral Ermac also gets X-ray instantly with having 2 Outworld Teammates as well as Mournful Kitana's passive, and Kitana you can probably get 2.5 bars of power if you have the axe faction war gear and an accessory which also gives you half a bar power.

extra little tip to cover more situations, having a debuff resistance piece as the armor and on talents will help if there happens to be any forced power drain, even on normal mode. Usually it's the mk11 scorpion boss which will apply fire immediately which will prevent power from reaching full, so if you can resist it then it will be less worrying getting out all 3 xrays consistently. (anyone wondering about possessed kenshi, if you have all 3 bars when he tags in, every single character in the entire game should be able to get up from being hit and use their xray before the fire drains the power, so there should be no worries there, other than that, one for all modifier could be a pain.)

I like to use Klassic Rain with his 1 Bar of starting power for Klassic characters. Hellspawn Scorpion with 1.5 starting power for Martial Artist characters. And Klassic Noob Saibot who is both Klassic and Martial Artist. So Klassic Rain starts with 1.5 bars and Klassic Noob starts with 2.5 bars. Then I add the necessary gear that gives Hellspawn Scorpion 3 bars, and just need one piece for Rain to get 1.5 more and one piece for Noob that gives him just 0.5 bars to start. Then they all do Fatal Blows in the match. You could also use Klassic Raiden or Klassic Lui Kang instead of Klassic Noob because both are also Klassic and Martial Artist, and have all 3 characters as Diamonds but I like the look of the all Ninja team better.

hey mand, I know the new tempest lasso gear will be useful. For gold characters, you can combine this with shintai of north or favorite toy accessory to get 2 bar on tag. The strategy should be to do x-ray two times on that character. Also kenshi's new brutality epic gives 2 bars on first tag so very good

Using krypt items would not affect your grade. Tested many times. As long as you achieve more than 25 X-rays and with Liu Kang in the team, you will get S Rank Dragon.

They don't make many tower special offers, I'd just keep on spending those crystals and hope you get lucky. The epic tower pack that gives you 3 epics will be here soon, it will be onetime so you can wait for that and maybe you can get two lasso I spent over 100$ on tower offers and have my lasso at f9. They nerfed p2w strategy to max gears a lot
