Somebody must be getting a brown envelope. Paying 5 times over the price it needs investigating. No point having a tender process if a preferred bidder automatically gets the job, he can name his price.

Andrew I’m so sorry, these people are incompetent and should all be fired , and I’m sure the guy who said there were BROWN ENVELOPES FLYING AROUND IS TOTALLY CORRECT . WELL SAID SIR .

I think the EA need to be questioned on how they allocate preferred tenders, 5 times more than the IDB could have done the job!!!. Another horizon fiasco. So if Lincs produces 27% of the UK food where does the other 73% come from and is it subject to red tractor. Until Sunday

What's needed is a criminal charge for incompetence ! Might get these agencies thinking about what they're doing !
@johnspall18772 ай бұрын
OMG, I, in the past, have given my opinion of the EA, and once again, they have proven me correct. These people are a complete embarrassment they really have escaped from the, well you know where. The school children must love it when they hear that you are coming with your tractor, well done. Let us hope these youngsters are being taught what 5 x means as apparently the EA hasn't been taught that part of sums. Wishing you well.

Unbelievable. I assume the invoice Henry is sending to the EA will be slightly larger, plus they need to pay for the waterlogged generator 🤭
@cristineagu69202 ай бұрын
I'm not from UK but I can see from the other side of Europe what a sick joke EnvAg does to people there. How they ask for payments, for something they obviously don't do? Farmers can't work the land cause of floods and they're still the ones to pay, for what, for the sitting water in the fields? That water wouldn't be there if those who claim the money would've done the job the way it should be. In another note it's good to see kids interacting with the agriculture in some way, if only one turns into a farmer it would be awesome.

Well done Andrew you are one of the best if not the best ambassador of British agriculture , I know it takes a lot of your time and energy but the return in way education and good will etc is something you can not buy.

Doesn't surprise me regarding the EA, when carrying out repairs on the Norfolk coast, they don't work according to the tides, they work to there 8am till 4pm hours so if there's a high tide they'll sit around in there vans the majority of the day waiting for the tide to go out.......
@JohnnyMotel992 ай бұрын
You gotta be kidding! When National Rail did the new sea wall at Dawlish, they worked 24/7 to fit the tides.

Great to see you going into the schools Andrew and teaching the kids all about where food comes from. On the flooding issues, it's clear that a lot of these government bodies are riddled with corruption. Its clear to me that these people want to destroy British agriculture and get rich with back handers in doing so. Thanks for bringing this to our attention. 😮

teaching them food starts with farmers not at mcdonolds, best ed they can have.

I think a boycott of payment may be the only thing the EA will sit up to and change the way they operate .
@peterwilson-qj2ds2 ай бұрын
I think that price should be inspected, someone is getting a nice little earner. As for the EA maintaince that's taking the P--S , they should be giving the flood damaged land and house holders money. The children looks like they enjoyed your visit, its so good of you to give your time to do this for the schools.

I should have known better than to take a mouthful of tea before you read the EA document, I'll get a cloth to wipe up the tea. It would be interesting to know how much money the EA collect from Lincolnshire landowners V's what actual maintenance works and projects are carried out each year.

@WardysWaffleAndrewWard2 ай бұрын
Why do you think the answer is ploughing?
@jackiewatson37892 ай бұрын
Ploughing - not ploughing. On heavy land on a year like this it makes no difference. If you do plough what little frost moulds you get disappear into the furrows. You can’t legislate for the weather and just need an armoury of different machinery to try to create a seed bed.
