Just to repeat the request, Please don't litter, if you see litter, please pick it up and either bin it or take it to somewhere you can bin it. Really good video, as always Andrew. A very sensible message re the protests in London, the industry needs to keep the public, ie consumers on board. Your friend Jane Craigie wrote a very good piece in the Press and Journal this week, well worth a look, as was the article by a prominent local agr lawyer. Glad to hear you say that Brexit is a big part of the problem, especially in England. A big danger for you is that it looks as if you are trying to overthrow a recently elected Govt which gained a huge mandate for change, including improving the services we all, including farmers, use. Some of the extreme messaging some of your colleagues in this endeavour are putting out is way too extreme. We do not have a "Commie Government" and farming is not about to end. The industry does need to put one voice forward and it will only succeed if it engages positively with the Govt. Good luck to you.

Great videos once again. The MP who said that we don't need farmers is a tube. When he and his cronies are out for a meal does he not think where all the fresh vegetables, meat, breads, milk etc come from . Smashing update! Pleased you’ve got all the drilling done! I guess now it’ll be sugar beet cleaning and collection, pressure washing all of the machines then tarmac plantings on the tracks and the odd day of wild civil disobedience in the city? Joking apart you’re right, anyone on the protest needs to be well behaved and a good ambassador for the profession. All eyes will be on the industry, it’s important that the day is good PR for farming as well as a protest against ridiculous Labour policies…

You need to try a mounted claydon behind that John Deere, mounted because you can hold the drill on the tractor hydraulics when you get to a wet spot.drop the front legs in, that relieves any compaction and the tines put the seed in without riding out of the ground I’ve had some great results this year in some very sticky conditions

Posted this on Ollys video last night - The ripple effect of this budget has already started. A customer of mine has cancelled a nigh on £1 million order for new grain store and onion store with a local ag building company. So they won’t get the sale and so on. This cannot be allowed to happen otherwise the knock on for everyone will be devastating. Trying to explain this people without ag knowledge is very hard and they all seem to think farmers making a mountain out of a molehill. Tuesday is going to change this outlook.

Hi Andrew, great to see you got all crops sown..it is clear to me as outsider that neither of main parties really care much about british farming and food security, in current climate where US heading toward protectionism one would question the wisdom ...I really think bristish farmers will regret Brexit ..at least in Europe there is some understanding of importance of farming and food security...good luck with protest on Tuesday..

Another brilliant informative video Andrew. You and the other KZbin hero’s are doing a great job. Aslong as we keep the general public on board I think it’ll force a U turn of some sort. I think if we get to the schools and push some sort of open farm policy that would do wonders. What 8 year old kid isn’t going to be impressed by your 8rx parked on the play ground. The general public must not be inconvenienced. As soon as builders Carnt get to work or blathering shit all over London the battles lost. Keep up the good work.

Considering the APR changes were allegedly supposed to close the loophole of non farmers buying up land for the tax break, you should be be stressing to the media and MPs the following: 1. The loophole has not been closed, just the value of it halved. Do you not think a halving of IHT liability to 20% is not still attractive to the wealthy non farmer? 2. The change will catch a lot of genuine family farmers who are not (allegedly) the target. 3. There are plenty of measures that could so easily have been taken to close the loophole without the collateral damage to the genuine farmer. Such as increasing the qualifying period for the exemption from only 2 years at present, to say 10 or 20. Newly purchased land added to an existing holding could be folded in. Or tightening up the definition of a farmer. There are plenty of people brighter than me to come up with such ideas or appropriate definitions. Shame none of them are in the Treasury. Maybe the loophole argument is just a red herring and they just think farmers are an easy target and a pushover…

What,do you expect when we have a Chancellor that, according to people that worked with her previously, has been dreaming about her job title rather than what she actually did. Demonstrated the family farm mindset when you were on the chicken shed bank, and that's OUR farm just over there. Rather than, that's my farm over there. Why is that new chicken farm a Brazilian investment and not a British investor. So many profitable businesses are foreign owned, all british cash profits leaving the country. Whether it be steel, ABP docks (Canadian pension funds), wind turbines (Danish & others), power stations, Sainsbury's (Qatar investment fund), water companies pumping sewage into rivers ( Chinese, Qatar, etc) major investors taking massive dividends through new channel island offshore company owning the operating company. Smart accounting or morally bordering on fraud. I thought Katie Hopkins summed it up describing "Lego head" Rachael Reeve's exaggerated CV on LinkedIn or many of the others have not got the brains to make the real tax avoidance companies pay their fair share so go after the few individuals that don't have a legal team at the ready. Sorry got carried away again
