Great video again Andrew. Another cultivator maybe worth considering is a Heva disc roller contour which I had on demo a few weeks ago on the Lincolnshire fens and it did a cracking job of creating a tilth and leaving a very level finish . Keep up the good work 👍

The roller in the Joker is designed to break up clogs. Open rollers are used for clog breaking(as they spin the clogs get bashed about inside).

The discs on the amazone are very small. I know they're only to tickle the top inch but it seems like you'd be down to the bearings once they'd worn an inch out two but I like how they're attached. I've seen the Aussies and Americans use what they call a Kelly chain that looks very simple and if tines like the amazone were added would make a good tool I think?

I’ve seen the Kelly chain at work in Oz and it moved more soil than this Amazon.

Hi Andrew another great video. Just one thing do you take the fastrac on the road with a 18 tonnes payload as my understand is that although the tractor trailer combine weight was raised to 31 tonnes. The gross weight of agricultural trailer remained at 18.29 tonnes. Just an observation, great work I really enjoy your video

That is a concern and one reason I like the 2170 Fastrac because it’s low weight. I had it chipped a few years ago so it’s 200hp so is great on a trailer and the air brakes make it safer.

I'm no expert on arable machinery,but these modern cultivation/disc tools are starting to look cheap and fragile compared to what was being used a few years ago, and not doing as good a job. Interesting update as always Mr Ward.

It might not look robust but it doesn’t need to be the strength of deep cultivators. Saying that, it was well built with some very good features. I thought it was good on the right farm who grow huge cover crops.
