I installed a hoist very similar to that one . Same brand . Have a couple of porkchops for me . You made me thirsty. Nice welding table. 😊👍👍

I could fix the rails as well but I don't have tall enough ceilings for it in this building and the boss wanted decommissioned so someone didn't get hurt. A 2 post would be more effective for my needs at the farm anyway. Thanks man.

Why did you scrap the lift? I understand rust, but was it rusted thg hat bad that the lift couldn't be reconstructed or repaired?

@@squatch253 Lemme guess - its an ongoing game where 'certain other techs' alter the orientation of your cart? Ive worked with guys like that, far too easy to get on their nerves when you aren't even trying! At least in your shop yer allowed yer own boxes - one shop I was at theyd just built new and everyone had to use the wall mounted boxes; and they would not surrender the spare keys. They didn't even like me having my two service carts and over engine creeper; never minding how half the crew borrowed that on a regular basis! Yea didn't stay there very long. If I might ask, do either of you specialize in a field or are you guys pretty general in what you do? Driveline and trans tech here; but did prettymuch everything except diesel.

Salt is a misery, it makes everything rust. Where I live, in northern Sweden they do not use salt on the roads, so rust is a very small problem here.
