Not me bro, my dad plowed behind a ol mule though, he told me mule got loose and ate a belly full of pole beans that grow on big trees in Georgia giving the mile gas real bad early that morning after feeding all night. He said the farts were stank so bad plus long passing them. At lunch he brought back them long kitchen matches, the mile raised its tail again he sidestepped it striking the match. Saying the mule blew a blue flame about 4 feet long, the mule sucked its tail down so hard almost like clapping a hand. Mule didn’t fart no more the rest of the day. Now that’s funny right there I don’t care who you are Rev. Paul,Eustis Florida. (71 yrs) lol

One reason that old equipment runs so many years had to grease moving parts. Didn't have them dumb sealed bearings that burn out.

And it was made by good U.s, Workers that cared and built good solid equipment did not have to have recalls like they do today because they built stuff, right the first time.

27 years about to put a 120jd picker on to finish up harvest. What is the bracket on the left hand side of the G's battery box that runs down to the drawbar frame?
@Speed-N-Tractor Жыл бұрын
That bracket is for mounted equipment we have to look back to what equipment it was

How come you keep a red can on top of the air filter
@Speed-N-Tractor Жыл бұрын
It’s usually on the exhaust but we move it to the air cleaner when we go to start it . If we are just moving the tractor around the farm it sometimes just hangs out there is all

Where is the stub shaft for starting the 60 by hand , it bolts in to the steering wheel? My 70 still has the fly wheel cover. The center of the cover has a little hole just for hand starting the tractor.

Man , WTF R U guys doing? They quit farming like this 60 yrs ago! . I member MY grandpappy workin until things broke . Then something else would break. Back in them days there was a blacksmith shop around every corner. The Blacksmith was a busy feller. All you could see was his eyeballz. He was the onlyist one makin money.. Old Johnny poppers would just be humming away in these hills when things got ta workin fer awhile.
