That was their golden age. How I would've loved to have seen them do all their goofy magic. Sometimes I see their performance at the Juno awards 1993, when they were dressed up as clowns, playing Box Set. PURE MAGIC! I still wait for that reunion, God willing one of these days...

I had the joy of seeing them dozens of times during the 90s and early 2000s - best times of my life. I haven't seen them since Steven left.... as much as I love the rest of them, I was "stage Steve," and I miss him so much. With him and his magic voice, it's just not the same.

You could tell in their 1st hit song “Be My Yoko” were big fans of The Beatles and their harmonies and especially the songwriting of Lennon & McCartney. The cover of the final chorus of “Memory” from Cats demonstrates how powerful Steven’s voice is and why BNL does not perform “Break My Heart” since Steven’s departure in 2009. Another example of his powerful voice is the ending of Steven’s solo song “A New Shore” when he sings the echoing “Land Ho” over & over building up to the powerful vocal crescendo.
