When Jimmy plays the guitar behind his back drives me nuts !!! Nothing but talent all the way to the top!! SRV rip
@reubenj.cogburn85469 ай бұрын
Something you should know. Stevie used to steal away his older brother's guitar as a youngster, and get beaten in the face for that. Don't get me wrong, Jimmy had some talent, but he was a shadow of his younger brother. And he knew it. And just fyi, he's not playing behind his back, he's playing behind his head. I have yet to see Jimmie Vaughan play behind his back. Don't get me wrong, I ain't putting you on blast . What I am saying is that Jimmy was good, but he ain't but a shadow of his younger brother. Word

@@reubenj.cogburn8546 Thanks for setting me straight he does play behind his head not his back. I seen SRV live in Tampa Fl in 1989 he was the best no doubt but Jimmy is all we have now and yeah he's no.2 SRV was no.1.

This band and JLV are significantly underrated. They deserved far more credit and airtime.

And more or less a faithful repro of the 1958 original by Guitar Junior. Jimmie Vaughan is the coolest!

Saw them at Rockefellers in Houston in 82. Then in Tampa in 86 when they opened for SRV. I got back stage and met my favorite harp player. Great band.

I may be an idiot...but after slowing it down I think that's a woman in a hat. Am I looking at the wrong person? Edit: I don't think that's him
@cgdoublezerorc Жыл бұрын
@@hubertsumlin9697 IDK. I'm looking at the person in the "cowboy" hat, wearing a white shirt, concho belt & dark pants. On SRV's left side is the stage manager,ff he's the guy wearing the headset talking to someone holding a clipboard. But you could be right & it's just my wishful thinking on getting to SRV one more time. Happy Holidays! 00
