You know that is such a beautiful tractor you and your apprentice should paint it and sticker it ! That unit is a keeper and will only be worth more as time goes by!

I had the older model loader on my 52 Cub, It was on the tractor when my uncle got it in 54. I plan on putting it back on either the Cub or the Lo-Boy when I get settled in to our new place for loading manure in my dump to compost for our beds in the meadow. It's also going to get a workout turning the piles as they cook.

Looks like a fun project there. I wish I had land like you do to run a small tractor.

Wondering how your hydraulics are hooked up. Does your touch control work with the loader? I have the same loader and the touch control wouldn’t work till I removed the line and plugged the line that goes from the pressure relief to the top fill/tank return tee. Wondering if you have had any issues like that.

I'll grab some pictures and show you how mine is hooked up a little bit later when I get back home. My touch control and all hydraulics work all at the same time if I need to use them I don't have any issues.

Handy l oh t cheaper for a home owner.they had lots of implements for those cubs. Easy way to take care of a garden. And mow the lawn.

Your right side rear tire is on backwards.
@OurPassThyme6 жыл бұрын
Yes it is. The rear tire width was 61 inches and the trailer is only 60 inches wide. To make things more interesting, the gate latches stick in an inch on each side too. I had to turn the wheel backwards and reset the rim spacing on the hub to narrow the width down to 56 inches. I was too anxious to try it out after unloading to waste time turning the wheel back around....

Tire is on the rim right, but I had to turn the wheel around to get the tractor to fit on the trailer.

all that work for that little pile of dirt lol, next time when picking soil up drive in the center of the mound and keep pushing until you get it all, fill that bucket and make er work. stand up if you need to while driving if you cant see.

Painful to watch! Shovel and a wheelbarrow would have been faster
@OurPassThyme5 жыл бұрын
Yeah, but I have many years of experience with a shovel and a wheel barrow and obviously none with a cub front loader. Note these were the first minutes driving this cub and the first time ever operating a loader. May be painful for some to watch, but I sure had a lot of fun!

@@OurPassThyme did it come with a muffler? Or is the loader frame over top of where it goes?
@OurPassThyme2 жыл бұрын
@@reaperhunter7297 no it didn't come with a muffler but I swap one from one of my other Cubs and it works and fits just fine, doesn't get in the way. The Cub engine really isn't that noisy to even require a muffler; some people prefer it without a muffler.
