My grandfather put concrete blocks on his discses. But his was a cub size.

yep yep. My father had a disc just like that but without my knowedge he let someone looking for metal cut it up! (and it still had the concrete blocks on it) still have my grandfather's 1939 m and 1942 m but neither have ran since the 1970s Need them restored but that costs $$

@channelingusllcix3512 whow you have a M too. Nice! My father owns a 1950 Farmall M that was originally purchased new by his uncle for his dairy farm. After the farm closed, my father and grandfather bought the tractor and fixed it up. We still own it today, and it still runs, but we haven't used it in years because the clutch needs work. We are planning on fixing that someday. Thanks for sharing some memories.

Awesome tractor. Will not give you any trouble and if it does its something you will be able to fix yourself. Check water and oil all the time and will last forever.

You’re right! I never used that disk again. Wanted to try it since it was made during the M era. Check out the one I used this spring.
