hey man - thank you for this video & your Cub series videos - your simple wiring diagram helped me undo a rat’s nest of wires on a 1951 Super A & reduce the problem down to a bad alternator; yesterday I got a one wire alternator put on & the volt meter you advised to wire up lit up like it’s supposed to, so now it’s charging properly ... again, thank you! 👍🏻

Where did you get your volt meter at? Was there a certain type to get.

It’s been a while but I probably got it from eBay. Just measure the hole in the dash and order one that fits.

Any idea on where I could find a 12 volt kit for a farmall 450? I can’t seem to find anything

I really don’t know if anybody makes an actual kit. Every 12 volt conversion I’ve been involved in was just piecemeal. Maybe try Steiner.

I have a farmall 100 + ground system does the 12 volt kit make it 12volt negative?? how do I convert it to 12v ? thx!

Can you share the specs on the bracket that you made for the Super A? Also is that a Denso Alternator?

Throw that generator away and get a GM alternator w/built in regulator. Easy to work on if need be.
