You must be selling that nice looking tractor and it seem to be working just fine too. I first used a Massey Ferguson tractor in 1965 and thought it was great until I got to drive a Ford tractor which was larger, and had power steering on it. After retiring from the Air Force and moving back home I found and purchased a John Deere package deal locally with the box blade, bush hog, and trailer with the tractor and loved all the equipment. I got a new tractor last year from the same dealership and love it also and have used the equipment around my place to maintain the property. Farmall tractors had a reputation for being dependable and I think they was owned by International Harvester which is now Case.

Thank you for the comment. We actually have a 2 disk plow that was made for this tractor. It fits under the belly.

you really should bring it to a complete stop before you change gears these do not have a sencronised transmission and you can really damage it by changing gears like that

you're right. You can also push up on the shifter in the (non-existant) position above Reverse. If you push up and hold the shifter there, it will act as a clutch brake and give you smoother shifts and no grinding! Try it!

The headline for the article says that this is a Super A, which I believe it is because it has the hydraulics, but the insignia on the side of the tractor only has the "A" on it, and not the "Super A" which it should have on it. No metal insignia emblem on the front grill either. Restoration failures.

Woodrow Magnus this is a Super A. I bought the tractor already fixed up and the previous owner had put the wrong decals on it. I wanted to put the correct ones on it, but the paint was too good to repaint it and that is what would have been needed. I tried to remove the "A" decals and couldn't without messing up the paint. I ended up installing the missing emblem on the front after the video was shot.

The tractor isn't restored by any means. It is just a well taken care of working tractor in good condition.
