You know my feelings on the Cub. When Grandpa and all his neighbors bought theirs back in the 50s, they looked like Super Ms going across the field after 50 years of walking behind a mule. They were a Godsend to all the 4-8 acre tobacco farmers in this area. Love that 400, a true workhorse that can run rings around any modern tractor of comparable horsepower. I've always loved the look of those 54-56 Farmalls. Love that 826 too! Looking forward to a great new year of Red Power. Merry Christmas y'all!

Thanks for sharing your love of Farmall's! I still remember the day they dropped off my dad's 1948 Cub! I was 7 yrs ojd, I grow up on that sweet little thing! I drove Fords on neighbors farm and dad i let him use the cub too! Good video FF par usual, I owned a number of red machines and still have a few and honestly driving the old 56,06 etc series tractors. I honestly like operating them.and frankly while the newer stuff has my interest and respect, the older stuff is my cup of tea,thanks bro

Merry Christmas. I cant wait to see what 2025 brings, the 826 and the 400 are both great additions, maybe a 1456 0r 1466? A 2250 loader for the 756 would work well, I actually have a Westendorf on my Oliver 1755 that can be removed and reattached as needed. IH 74 and 84 series make nice loader tractors too, and are fairly reasonably priced.

Don't forget, when it comes time to clean the gas tank on the cub. Use muriatic acid, strap it to a cement mixer or a jacked up tractor tire and spin it for 30 to 45 minutes. You're going to be shocked at how clean it comes out. Merry Christmas Geno and happy new year👍

Merry Christmas, FF! I keep my eye out for a cub for myself all the time. If I found a 140 for a good price I’d take that. For your property other than actual heavy field work the cub is the perfect size for snow plowing and small mowing tasks no doubt. I think a 574 diesel with the 2000 loader would be perfect, or a 2250 mount-o-matic. Looking forward to 2025!

Merry Christmas. I remember when your Mom was sick I started going back through the years on You tube and enjoyed your old videos. To rebuild a tractor you do it for love. You will not make money of it selling it but If you do it you want to keep it. If I was better health and had the land I would love to have a tractor for each attachment. I know the old days my Uncle and Dad had two tractors because that was all they could afford. I think that 400 was a heck of a buy for you.

Look for an IH 300 to be your loader tractor. Low center of gravity and likely a lot of them out there (some industrial yellow). I've used a 3 point "pig pole" for a lot of lifting tasks. You can weld a custom extra long boom, put a chain fall on it too. Mount an electric winch to tug machines off a trailer.

With being a Farmall Fanatic I would suggest a hydrostatic tractor with a loader on it..... 186,100, 1066, 966, 1026 ,826 .... I'd suggest staying those models for having park lock not brake pedal lock

@FarmallFanatic I have my late uncles 186 with a 2350 needing restoration. Has a skid loader Q tach plate on it. We have been using it as a back up loader around the farm. We have 5 other loaders. Have had 2 other 186 , still have a 1066 hydro and dad bought a new 656 diesel hydro back in the day

I used a liner on my B and let it dry as recommended,but the gas in the bowl always had a Blue tint . I asume in time the liner would be disolved

I got a question 41 H it has a a magneto a video that shows how to switch it to a distributor and what I have to do I would like to make it 12 volt with negative ground or can you send me somewhere to that can help me any help would be very much appreciated nobody seems to know how to work on them anymore.
