Excellent video Farmall Fanitic :) also planting is fun to do and challenge too included! On axles spindles for wheels do ever put grease on spines so slip on nice and bolts on U clamps bracket with oil or grease on nuts so spin on or off easily to ? I know lots farmers my way do sometimes on nuts use Anti Seize thin layer on also spindles to also!

We always ran the dualing hubs the other way on our 7 and 9. The 7 has 100 inch axles with 15.5xR38 and the 9 has 118 inches axles with 18.4R38. It was always easier to tighten 2 u bolts than line up 9 hub bolts. I'm not sure of your duals would fit with the hubs flipped. That was for us do what works.

If you want to get fancy you can get those magnetic coated plastic floor vent covers for mobile homes that close off the registers in unused rooms, and then cut them up into covers for the seed meters on the drill... the magnetic stuff holds them in place.

Of course you can plant corn with a drill. If there's a setting for it, you can plant it. And by blocking the holes off, you get your 28" rows, although you have to set your drill to seed 4 times heavier. I have a feeling that you're going to have to pull your dual hubs out. We have found that the hubs have to be almost to the end of the axle to work... When they are right in like that, duals won't quite go on, I don't think, and they need a slight gap. Your hubs are slightly different than what we have. Ours have just straight bolts going in to threaded blocks that clamp the axle, rather than U bolts. Those electric impacts work great.
@FarmallFanatic2 жыл бұрын
I actually left about 1/2" gap
@tyfrank34272 жыл бұрын
@@FarmallFanatic It should work. I looked at some of our tractors and every one has the dual hubs right to the end of the axle. I think after looking at them again that your tractor has longer axles.
