Very interesting how he is dosing nitrates. There are so many people that feel you need 0 nitrate and 0 phosphate. I have never tried to get to zero. No bio pellet reactors no algae scrubbers. I can see the good in them but i think there is a very fine line to keep some of that. Great video, this is what I want my tank to look like. in a couple months Ill be close to this.

0 is not good. i wen from some nitrates to 0 and started getting algae blooms and hair algae. raised my nitrates back up a tiny bit and it went away.... i will never run 0 again.

I'm planning to setup new tank .. I am a bit lost with the turnover rate of the water from main tank to sump .. according to your setup tank size shd hold 244liter but the return pump is M1 is 7500lph .. wasn't tat too strong or the vectra are not 100% ? do you might to share? thank you

Thank you roi for the information.. that is the unique part of Reef tank , same amount of everything but the result can be very different.... I am aiming at 6x-10x turn over rate... But based on the equipment spec of the video, it seem like more than 10x....
