That looks brilliant well dune on the video a good insight into how it works and what a good piece of kit, I placed an order last week and it looks like a six month wait, It looks like its going to be a long year over hear in the UK.

That was one of the hardest "waits" I've ever done. I'll be out there with mine on stage 4 times this week! It sounds awesome all mic'd up. I'm running it through a QSC K sub and K10 and it really kicks!

It's pretty cool. I mic it up when I perform and it really kicks through a PA system. If you get one, you have to pay a few hundred down and then it takes about 6 months to get it. If you buy one, get the case. It has a nice long handle on it and wheels, straps and a few canvas type handles also.

They no longer offer the gator case can u provide me with a model number or measurement so I can try to purchase bag else were
@googull271 Жыл бұрын
I think it’s actually a PA speaker bag that Farmer Footdrum offered as a bag for this kit. Check with Gator and see if they have a PA speaker bag that would work.

Well damn you're good at it 2 minutes unboxed. !!! it cracks like a beeotch. The snare - is there any nuance or velocity change? It sounds triggered/sampled practically. fascinating
@googull2717 жыл бұрын
The snare sticks are about 8 inches long and after using it for a few years ALOT (187 shows last year), it's not very responsive as far as nuances go but...it works great for straight beats. I use the hi hat on verses alot for a softer touch then kick the snare in. You just have to work around it but, that being said...I couldn't do my show without it. The new model has magnets so your repelling that magnetic force instead of springs which, even though I haven't tried yet, seems to make more sense and is quieter, smoother and possibly more responsive. Check out Farmer Footdrums for more info. He has a nice site with some videos.

What is this newer, magnetic model? That sounds fascinating. by the way thanks for the informative response - this is really interesting
@googull2717 жыл бұрын
You'd have to go to Famer Footdrums.com and check out the deluxe models. You can sort of configure how you want it set up. I think he only uses the magnets now...you might be able to get springs if you'd want them, I'm not sure. He'll respond to your inquiries via his website.

Is that hard to play and do guitar
@googull2714 жыл бұрын
rebel detail Not for me. I've been a drummer and a guitar player for years so I just swapped the right hand on hi hat to my right hand guitar. The only thing that took a bit to get used to was the snare with my heel. I had to change my left drumming snare hand to my left heel. Its second nature to me now. If youve never played drums or guitar it would take awhile. If you've never played drums, you could start out with a basic bass drum thump and add things as you got used to it. Its a great instrument...built very well.
