Good morning Richard. I was watching you and Harry putting the banner on that gate and this video followed that one. So I hadn't noticed when it was posted. We follow Farmer P as well, so I knew he had new tyres on that skid steer a few months back. It also looked like warm weather. When I saw the date was two years ago, it all made sense. Sorry to hear you've got that nasty cold. There's a lot of people around suffering like that at the moment. I caught it on the Friday before Christmas and it didn't clear until the end of the month. Terrible cough as well, so I know how you feel. Worse for you, as you have to work, whereas I'm retired! Thank you for those two videos. Great entertainment. Get well soon.

Oh I love that skid steer! A couple you- tubers in Oklahoma, they have the New Hollands, theirs are on tracks, actually. But yeah, it's crazy what they can do, go around pulling up invasive trees, lugging round hay bales about; depending on the attachments you have, it's limitless, what it can do.

Ian is a great friend to you Richard , good to have friends like him , always works both ways .......yeah these older farm building weren't designed for tractors , meant for horse n cart and a gripe / fork to muck out .....lan have you ever thought of putting in shavings on the floor before bedding with straw , maybe save you on Straw , with the price of straw being higher !
@jamescarmody17102 жыл бұрын
I use wood chip under my straw any it cut down my use sage of straw by more then half
@willpp99992 жыл бұрын
I always put down lime then wood shaving after every time l clean out the cattle housing building s then straw , l think it saves a fortune on straw ! Richard the building that lan clean out would benefit from shavings prior to straw bedding !

Amazing what such a small machine is capable of in the hands of a good driver. Well done Ian. I think the biggest frustration at the moment Richard is you having to hold back when you're so used to getting stuck in. Crack on carefully.

Hats off to you Richard for mucking that out by fork......😮 . Our old 460 nuffield with millshift rear loader was the go to for our calf shed . You had to duck under the beam every time. Skidsteer and operator makes it a lot easier. Stay safe 🏴

We always used tracked machines when emptying customers cattle yards, If there was concrete floors then we would use our Matbro telerams if the bottoms were wet or extremely soft we always used Case 450 A no cabs and huge forks loading our converted six wheeled lorries trailers hitched to Ford 7000 or 7610🇬🇧🇮🇪.
