Find your passion and you'll never work a day in your life......mine ended up being trees and forests. So I created a forestry/arb company, and thus I could revert back to my childhood of being that boy who played in the woods, but who now gets paid for it :)

of everything in the video, what resonated most was the beginning when you became emotional, speaking about your family: "they always put us first." so did my folks for my sister, brother & me.

As a young man who wants to join too the army I find that you’re videos are quite inspiring. I’ve started my journey almost one year ago and since then I’ve made significant progresses next year I’m going to have the testes in order to achieve my dream of entering in the Aeronautics Academy and I’m sincerely a bit scared of not succeeding, even though I think I’m more than valid, cause my family and I are sacrificing a lot for that. Thanks for your videos!

Awesome vid. You won't remember this but we bumped in to each other outside Tesco Exp in Totterdown. I was the tall guy delivering parcels who immediately recognised you. Anyway, I'm in the process of joining the Signals and watching your content on purpose and fulfillment is a huge reason behind that. Thanks, and again..love your stuff👍

Hearing your story has really inspired me as I’m currently struggling to find work that makes me feel like I’m going in the right direction. I joined the British army at 16 years old and left just over two years ago, I have worked countless jobs in that time and have always felt like there is something missing, every day has been a struggle and a drag. Recent life events have really made me think about my life and I am currently working on my main goal of becoming a personal trainer.

Good luck Max, it’s a good age to join after having a bit of life experience outside of school. If you want it more than anything else, and take it a day at a time once you’re in CTC then you’ll succeed. Let us know how you get on with the interview and fitness assessments etc. Good luck

2nd one I've watched. Interesting to listen to and see similarities of character. Been out 20 years! Very similar back ground and by sound of it life experience. Civvy street sucks compared to the order and mindset of the military. I'll be watching more over the next few weeks.

Hey just curious what age you were on selection? im joining the marines and will be on training in July at 26, my aim is sbs which I know sounds far fetched but if I love something enough to risk my life doing it, I want to do it to the best of my ability and wondered what you experience was as an older soldier, anything to work on and if there was any challenges with that or phys you recommend that I may not think of. Thanks and loving the content
@thenaturaledge

Hey Aaron, I was 28 on selection mate. One of the lads was 36. If you want something bad enough, and you are focussed on the process day by day, then you’ll have a chance of success. You HAVE to be all in.

Of course, I know it’ll be a job of obsession which is why I think it’s something you can’t do for too long before moving to the next challenge or losing everyone close to you. Thanks for the info mate

Some would argue that to join the military requires a family background with no empathy. I'm not saying this is true, but emotional abuse can be more subtle. You even look like someone who is blessed with good looks, good genes and a kind life. But who knows?
@thenaturaledge
@thenaturaledge 2 жыл бұрын
To join the military, there are no pre requisites, other than maybe a desire for adventure and to test yourself daily. It’s an excellent career path regardless of background and circumstance. Thanks for watching lex and stay tuned. 🫱🏻‍🫲🏼

@@thenaturaledge But there are other prerequisites aren't there. Physique and mental drive have to be extraordinary for the SAS. For armed forces, generally, other traits. Loyalty, camaraderie, sanity and rational thinking. You have to be trusted to have clear objectives and not mess anyone around by playing silly games. That's why empathy and a person's family are of crucial importance. Why bring up your parents (only one is even pictured, unlike Bear Grylls) and get emotional? You're not very specific about how they 'always put you first'. Sorry to sound personal, but that's the point of a personal life perspective.
