The way to tell if an implement should be on the front or back is how it's oriented in the shop. Everything faces forward, so if the hitch is on the back, it should be mounted on the front. It will also spawn this way. There are lots of implements that can be used either way, but the helpers seem happier if they are mounted on the right end.

I just used a front loader mulcher and deforested a whole forest and made a field all with the mulcher😂 it was awesome. I had a lot of fun with that front loader mulcher.

PEOPLE NEED TO KNOW THIS. If you grow grain crops with the swath off (not in a line ) it leaves a mulched state on your field like if u were liming or fertilizing so make sure not to miss spots with ur combine.

You could put the small one on the front of your tractor then put a direct drill seeder (with fertilizer) on the back and be multching, seeding, and fertilizing all at once while also skipping cultivating entirely.

does rolling and mulching stack on top of each other? so if i mulch and then roll a field i gain 5% extra yield? ay 5% is 5%

You can combine both a mulcher and a cultivator/direct seeder of the same width, making the extra time spend negible.

Chopping straw results in a mulched state now and canola had mulched state after I swathed.

Same here, I assumed it was because of the chopping straw but I wasn’t too sure so I came here to check it out and see if I was fucking something up.

You can also just not pick up the straw from the last harvest. Spread it around instead

Can you do a vid on parsnips, I took on a contract for them and got the leased equipment but the trailer they provided wouldn't seem to work.

you cant mess it up. you attach your cultivator to your tractor, lower it and thats it. you dont have to turn it on or anything because there is no mechanism behind it. that is not a case for direct seeding which will cultivate and seed the field at the same time. what exactly is confusing you?

@ see that’s what I thought but when I cultivated the ground texture didn’t change nor did it show up on the map as cultivated (yes I lowered it) I thought maybe I did it in the wrong order, used the wrong one, or first day bugs. I still got 100% yield bonus so I don’t know 🤷‍♂️

İ noticed somethig strange.. When you make chaf from corn in green time the ai worker refuse to make mulching.....

I harvested a field of wheat and afterwards I noticed it was giving me a mulched state for that field. Is that normal?

@@ryanarends8950 It looks like the combine will give the mulched state if the straw dropping is disabled.

My AI worker will not cultivate after mulching my field. Does Mulching count as a cultivated state ?

@@jollyrogerhobbies2386 Yeah I just looked at my map filters, it does not. I think mulching is bugged right now. There's a video of someone not being able to plant after mulching too. A few posts on Reddit identifying bugs after mulching.
