Great video. I, for one, am very excited for 25. Even if the base game turns out to be "meh" I still think it'll be a great foundation for the incredible modders out there to work with.

6:11 thank you. Finally someone who correctly identifies twister and tornado as an interchangeable name for the same thing. So many people seem to think that these are different things and try to correct people for using the wrong term. It's insanity.

I think it would be cool if they did a "Farmer's Life" career mode where you start on your family's farm while you're in 4H or FFA or something and you get one small field and a small tractor and some livestock to raise and show at the fair. Then as you get older you wind up inheriting the farm and working your way up to larger equipment and unlocking new crops to plant through experience.

I always wondered why they never incorporated some kind of story mode or campaign. Seems like it could be fun for starting maps with a campaign.

One thing people overlook alot of times. If you want buy the collectors/ premium edition of a AAA game it is $100+ for a game that is usually bashed by most. With fs25 it's $70 with a good amount of physical extras.

I hope if rolling is still in the game that they have a way to turn that requirement off as it affects yield, or better yet, have it satisfied by the planter/seeder itself.

Production transfers could be improved if you could change the inbound products. For example- allow milk to be accepted in the dairy and not allow sugar. Similar to the outbound options just different options

Years ago a friend of mine suggested FS17 and since it was on game pass I tried it. I sucked and couldn't get into it. Later when FS22 was on game pass I tried it and by watching a bunch of videos I got into it. I have preordered FS25 with the year one pass and am looking forward to playing it as well. (On console if you add in the year one pass you get the New Holland CR11 Gold Edition along with the MacDon Pack.)

Thanks for all that information! I don't know where to ask the questions, so I'll ask them here. Do you know of any other updates to animals for FS25? One of the things I suggested was, for example, having the horses come to the fence, be pet, and be able to mount them a little more realistically.

If we do get access to 4x maps, do you think there would be a licensing/branding issue with some of the maps like UMRV, County Line, etc. due to them having real-life stores & restaurant brands? Either way, it will be nice to have access to 4x maps and I hope the AI is better for solo players like myself. Even if it's field only at least we can do all of the on-road stuff while they work the fields. Also hopefully on top of increasing the slot count they will give us more mod storage so we can install mods for other servers without having to delete our personal stuff.

On PC you can already 4k in FS22 it will be difficult on console. AFAIK the PS5 Pro should be able to handle 4k maps with upscaling with FSR/PSSR/

So there wont be any upgrade to making this games more detailed and simulationed. At least they can upgrade their basics and make more complicated. Why are Giant trying to meet expectations of casual players? They usually get stuck in 10th hour.

Thank you for your direct video. I am contemplating very hard if I will buy this on PC or on PS5. I play FS22 on PS4 because I love playing it lying down on the couch, but man the features that are not available on consoles are astronomical. There was so much that I missed out on.

I would assume that the twisters would affect your equipment because when dj was playing the demo they wouldn’t let him take off the cultivator he was using. + i hope they change how the mod folders work

please recomend horses to be a bigger feature in the game, it would be awesome if you they had a more in depth training or having traits to improve them into certain "career paths" like racing, show jumping etc and it could be that sending them off to participate in such events (as a simulation they are just gone for a while) they return with rewards, bonus income and/or even injuries and extra fees... if you have any connection with giant or a way of putting this suggestion forward it would be amazing please let me know

Really disappointing to learn no VR support. I want so badly to be able to play this game in first person only but the lack of depth perception makes it really difficult with some of the equipment, if not downright impossible without it. Huge missed opportunity imo

I can understand that putting in "normal" VR interactivity would be a major amount of work. Personally I would be satisfied if I could use my VR headset and get something similar to what I get with head tracking via a camera on top of my display. I know there is software that claims to do this but I have yet to get around to trying it out.

I'm still wondering if there'll be autoloading on consoles for logs. It's a pain in the *ss to do forestry on console to be honest..

It is quite a pain but if you haven't already I'd recommend checking out the CSZ pack mod, it adds a ton of tools for wheel loaders, telehandlers and skid steers. In my experience they work a lot better than standard attachments, and they even have one tool that's just a bar with tension straps, it has been very helpful with bales and I'm sure it would work well for logs too.

That would be extremely unfeasible. It takes a lot of work to make one map and all the maps that are mod maps on FS22 cant be brought over by GIANTS because GIANTS doesnt own them the modders that make them do

Its been answered for the new crops and will be the same as it was before for old crops

Slots and the now showing all animals are limitations of their own software and not the consoles.

Technically yes, and technically no. Slots are consoles limitation, animals are their softwares. For more animals the animals would need to be far less detailed and they do not want to sacrifice the detail

The game will still be good regardless it's just unfortunate they don't have an engine to do this along with that visual ring. This is the only game that I play, that I know of, that has this. We might just have to agree to disagree

I know this is probably a dumb question but, has there been any mention of being able to use 4 way flashers on console? I know it's not much of a feature but I have been hoping for the 4 way flasher option with each new FS game but never have seen it on console.... I play on Xbox Series S. Thanks @farmercop

Its possible on FS22 on console, you just have to sacrifice one of your other controls to rebind a key binding. Its not stabdard because there are not enough buttons on controllers

@@FarmerCop Well on console unfortunately you can’t rebind any of the buttons. So I’m asking if it’s possible to activate them on console on FS25, so if you could find that out that’d be great. And if they can’t be, please suggest Giants to make it happen. Because I know we’re not the only ones who want the ability to activate hazard lights, four ways, flashers, whatever you want to call them. Thanks and keep up the great videos!
