Can I leave them over winter in the same pot planted in or do I need to dig them up and store them dry?

I assume "compost" in the UK is equivalent to potting soil in the US? There is also a compost product in the US, but I believe Naomi is using what I would call potting soil. True? Very nice video, by the way!

Yes, that is absolutely right. We use compost/potting soil for house plants, windowstill herbs etc. Results are fantastic if you know what compost to get.

I bought the Blue Fullstar, and have planted them on a seed tray and they have just started sporuting. But the bulbs seed looked small and round and what ever that's sprouting looks purple brown leaf stem. 🤔 But I'm not sure if it's hardy like u say on this video as online on your site it only says perennial.

Fabulous video, THANK YOU. My bulbs are very odd looking, they’re black, almost charcoal look like(but still firm)...I’m afraid that I’ve had them too long (bought in spring last year). In your infinite wisdom do you think it’s worth a go?

Well the ones I ordered from you have a distinct point so I’m guessing that that is the top. I’d be interested to know why the ones you are planting are at least 6 times larger than the ones I got from you 🤔

I bought 2 of these, already established and potted they were very wilted when I bought them and the stems were all tangled I sorted them all and removed dead stems and head and replanted them in a bigger pot but they are still very flat and lifeless looking what else can I do to make them less limp. I could send a pic if that's possible?

Its possible they were at the end of their flowering stage when you got them, they should flower again next year :) You could dig them out and replant as Farmer Gracie did for best results :)

Do not add rocks to the bottom. It raises the moisture line and can cause root rot.

This year I have a gorgeous pink double and an amazing burgundy one. Also called Lilies of the Field as in surely Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed as one of these. Matthew 6 verse 28 Do not worry your Heavenly father knows what you need......I make compost from coffee grounds, and egg shells, cut banana skins and orange peel which makes it smell good, mix it with ordinary compost, result good!
