Mrs Thatcher ended the concept of jobs for life in British Industry, industrial wokers had to get used to being made redundant, working in worse conditions for less pay, spending less on food, having to buy cheap processed foreign food. The farmers didn't come out in support of industrial workers. Now death duties are being returned on the estates of farmers as they die, the country is in a mess, someone has to pay. The farmers expect not only jobs for life but jobs for their children and grandchildren. Much of Britain is owned by big estates with little or no public access, held by the same families since 1066. We the taxpayers have had to pay subsidies to the farmers who live better than we do and hope to pass on their assets for free.

They should do what we do in the states form a LLC then the children are part of the company. Besides your farmers paid for, and are taxed on their land. In the states you can leave all your money, and land in a irrevocable trust, and it cannot be touched or taxed by the government. The UK s problem is they send billions of aid money to other countries. They also take in illegals in, and your taxes pay for that. Farmers are the backbone of any country.
