Many People are exhausted of supporting this stuff. Not all exposure is good exposure. This type of advertising is only attractive to a certain demographic . Jaguar would have to bank on that specific demographic being the most wealthy ( which program initiatives in academia , politics, big business has definitely tried to force societies hand in that direction) , and it may end up that way. In America we’re seeing a bit of a shift away from it , even in our youth to a certain extent, but of course the shift is beginning with people that are getting the shaft 😂 , and the rich elite are still in their own world not acknowledging those beneath them. You have delivered the only practical response for a current owner, who is likely upside down on their loan. In the US, these are lease for 4 years or 50,000 miles and then turn back in. They blow up, along with their Rover siblings, just after the warranty expires. As a kid I fell in love with Range Rovers and Jag XJS and XJ6 models. There’s a gorgeous XJ6 at my client’s offices I have recently noticed … pristine condition. Maybe in a year or so we’ll see “The Cat is Back” and “Out of the Bag” campaigns.
