these saws don't seem to spin the chain as fast as the Stihls do. every video i see they really don't appear to cut as fast as the Stihls either.

Your getting this from watching videos? Talk about armchair quarterbacking! Let me share a helpful tip with you there are a lot of things that contribute to a saws poor performance. First I disagree with your statement based on my own saws performance. A chainsaws poor performance can be from using poor gas, insufficient and poor quality oil and the carburetor can not be adjusted properly or the chain can be dull or poorly sharpened and I'm sure there's some other things that I'm not even thinking of right now. Right now Stihl is having major issues in company policy for instance their gold mechanic. The mechanics have frequently quit and went to another job and they're not replacing them they're not pressuring some of these dealers to replace them and train them they're pushing electric equipment so you better know how to work on a saw because before long the Stihl equipment you paid an arm and a leg for is going to be worked on by monkey at a dealer. If you put in the work change out the parts for OEM parts and maintain it the the kits and the blues will do the exact same thing that a Stihl will.

Did you buy the chainsaw from Ebay and how didn't it take you to receive the saw?

Buy direct from FarmerTec. About 8 days after it shipped. About 10 days total. FarmerTec sells on eBay under a number of different names including huztl.

Ask them if they fixed the bar oil leak. The valve is not seated correctly and bar oil pours out from behind the valve. Keep a copy of their reply. Use a credit card to pay on PayPal

@@the1chainsawguy Huztl on ebay is where I am watching the Holzfforma g388 but I was reading a note they had where the saw will go in to International Custom's to be checked and it cost so I was wondering if you had to pay customs? And how did it take to receive the saw.

I just got one of these CS, from Hong Kong sent to GB and I fired her up after reading the distruction and it too, would not turn off, this is extremely dangerous and totally against training standards. I have ask for another Saw.

Sorry it happened to you. It's fixable. I show how in one video. In fact I have a video that shows the 380 being totally rebuilt, so you are not alone in taking care of your saw. Same saw, different color. Good luck

Put some marvel mystery oil in the gas. It stabilizes the fuel, aids the break in, and lubricates the components.

The 038 never had one and neither did the 380. But the 381 did. The 380/381 are not sold in the US. That is my best memory. Do they in Australia? This does not need one. I checked Stihl paperwork I was correct

@@the1chainsawguy I don't know if the real Stihl had them in Australia - I just assumed they did because my kit does. I guess the kit is really a mix of parts. You're right though, they really don't need one.

@@moth3rfck3r-s4n I forgot that the kit had one. I need to look at mine refresh myself. I don't think the prebuilt 200t has the same cylinder as the kit, smaller. Don't have a prebuilt to check. There seems to be differences. As is my nature I will look very closely and report. I have two autos. They both quit on same day. I have been fixing myself. Between bad weather and waiting on parts I am behind on my hobby. As of today I have two running autos, so I can focus again.

I don't know, I will know. You could ask them. I know what the 380 kit was because I built it. I noticed they used some of the same assembly techniques I did. They must have watched. :-). I will have to see why mine would not cut off. Likely a lose wire or a bad throttle bar. I will look closely at it in the near future. I completed my 200t totally today so this will be next.

3:20 That log is so punky you don't need a chainsaw....just hit it with a hammer and it will turn to sawdust!! Not hatin on your saw Bro...just sayin you might look for a better log to test your saw on.

I thought the same thing looking at the log. I might consider using that in an outdoor fire pit but would waste it in a woodstove.

Pull the muffler, toss the screen, open it up some more, adjust your fuel.
