I have such fond memories of this series, I still have the Farmhouse Cookbook which I received for my 16th birthday, i still use Mrs Robins Fruitcake and I loved Grace Mulligan…. Happy days from down to Earth no nonsense Women!

Very interesting, but I can't help but think of possible improvements. Maybe they should wear long draping sleeves that fall into their cooking. Oh, and a silent and terrified young assistant moving things around in the background would be very welcome.
