I bought a washable rug from Amazon for a high traffic area. It’s very pretty and was very reasonably priced. I love the cabinets above the washer and dryer. I’m so glad you showed this because this is exactly what I want to do above my washer and dryer. Now I can show yours to my husband. Your laundry room looks so nice. You’ve done a great job with everything. I know this is a project you will be happy to have completed.

You can hang a picture over the fuse box. If you want to be really fancy, you can put it on hinges on the side and mount it to the wall so that it opens like a door. Also, I just recently seen an idea if you want to disguise the plug of your dryer underneath your shelf is to hang a valance under the shelf (I think attach with velcro on the underside of the shelf).

An idea for your breaker box-you can put an art piece over it with the layering of pictures 🌸 Amazon has some cute little wooden scoops that would look cute in those containers to match the wood lids-just an idea. 🌸 It’s coming together so beautifully! Your rug looks so good. You can always put a rug on the top of it to absorb the mess from outside. You need to put a same color runner rug in front of the washer /dryer. It would be so nice.

Your laundry room turned out so nice. The shelves are awesome. I don't know if there are rules with electric boxes but I hung a chalk board over ours years ago without issue. Gosh, it has been 28 years since we built the kitchen/dining room addition onto our home. That chalkboard has been worth every penny, we use it often.

....I had not seen your " Inspiration photo ",... so you really did nice work on your Laundry Room, Miss Robin ! I like the large rug, and you could " layer " a bit darker colour over that one, a size that doesnt impede opening the door or anything...so it adds a bit more of the practicality you were seeking. ( just a thought!) 🙂 Perhaps just adding a picture, to place over the Breaker Box (?) ..with a black frame and a print of something that tues in with your overall design....( ..I've done that and it is easy to remove if needed. ) you could add a few different size frames as well, to make a snall Gallery group of 3 or 5 . Again, just a thought! It shows how much work y'all have put into giving your Laundry Room a makeover.... I'm sure it 8s a pleasure to walk in there and see how lovely everything is. 🙂😊👏🏻✨️

My pleasure,..I'm glad that the layering thought was a general idea of many here on your Channel. ...because, the large rug " grounds " the space ,so layering something that has a similar " feel " to that, but slightly darker, would be helpful. ....just thought I would mention about hanging something over the breaker box.That makes it simple to get to, but in the meantime, you're hiding it.....And when you add some other elements that go along with it, it looks intentional. 😊🙂xo

Hey Robin! I just saw a video where the person put hinges on a framed mirror and attached it to the wall to cover the fusebox! I can’t remember who it was but I thought it was genius! You could do it with a framed art print too I’m sure. Wouldn’t be hard to do at all! If I can find the video I will come back and let you know
