This is a great idea and finished product! It will make things so much easier for you to find a spice. Did you have the rack? Or did you thrift it? I never thought about painting the jar lids, but what a great idea, makes things clean looking. I have a mess where my spices are concerned. As a matter of fact January was organize and clean kitchen. The spices, utensils & the Tupperware are the worst spaces. This idea gives me something to think about. Thank you for sharing this project with us.

Thanks so much. I owned the spice rack. I have probably had it for 20 years, it is made for McCormick spices (it came with their jars) but they have changed out their look so many times nothing matched anymore. I loved the jars and just kept refilling them over the years but they all needed an update.
