Oh my goodness! You guys are so much like me. I have a room designated to my dogs too, the mud room. I use a baby gate but love your doors! I have 4 dogs so my bedroom has a dog bed in every corner 🤦🏼‍♀️. Love the idea of using a throw. I’ll be doing that. I have a Boston Terrier, Anatolian Shepherd (Roomba is life for me), bulldog, and blk lab. Two are rescues. I work for an animal rescue. I’m a fan of your vlogs! Thx

I use to have aSchipperke,which they are called " keys", he passed (2)yrs ago.i really miss him so. Iam left with the cutest Yorkie, named Diamond, we live in a 1940ish Bungalow style house,which was purchase 20yrs ago,it was pretty,but after 20yrs.of remodeling, and 4 dogs,which has passed the house is beautiful, people say you wouldn't ever known I had dogs,because it spotless,a lot of work,but reward ing.ihave orginal hardware floor,which has been restored, &stained,I keep a white towel in the foyer and at the back kitchen door,when raining in beauiful baskets with doggie wipes,and white towels to wipe her paws,even when not raining.she has a doggie bed in my bedroom ,den ,and. Foyer,covering on my bed,when she is sleeping with me,she also have a doggie cave on my bed.i found online at Chewy. com.they have so many things to help us pet parents,to keep things clean and fresh.its not hard just regular cleaning habits.and you will be great.Diamond is the owner of this house; I just pay the bills!

I didn't see any windows in the "dog room" :-( If you can trust them to be house trained and not destroy anything in the house during the night, why not give them free reign to your whole house when you are gone?

We work from home so it’s not common for our dogs to be alone at home very long. The open space seemed to stress our Aussie out. Him being in his own space helped him rest and not get into any trouble if we left to run an errand. The room is pretty big and they have everything they need in there to be comfy and cozy.
