😳 WOW, Lisa. I'm sorry. I don't always read lots of the comments, but unfortunately, today I did. I've never seen so many "nit-picky" comments, complaints, or just seemingly unhappy viewers. Did everyone get coal in their stocking? Oh, my. I love that you're evolving, learning new things, or just trying to improve. I wish I had the physical & financial ability to keep up with you, but alas, not to be, but I can glean information from your videos. This is important for all of us. Be a lifelong learner! 😊 A belated Merry Christmas & Happy New Year! 🎉l

Not sad that I didn’t read the other comments! I just made a roast in the crock pot on Christmas Day because it’s so easy and yummy! I had open heart surgery on 12/11 so I’m just now getting around to do little bits. My daughter and husband are very helpful so I don’t do too much. Point is I thought everything Lisa did was perfect! There are so many ways we can make these items into a delicious meal. It’s all about using what we have to feed our family. ❤

This is my favorite kind of food! Your pot roast and gravy looked divine! This channel has inspired so many changes in my cooking/baking over the past 2 years. I bought a cheap grain mill and used it religiously for a year to mill wheat for my breads. Then for Christmas, my husband got me a WonderMill! I'm over the moon, as I had just listened to the podcast episode on whole grains.

I don’t know if you will see this but my neighbor gave me her recipe for a tasty “egg wash” for Stromboli. She takes an egg, minced parsley and Parmesan cheese and blends them together. Then spreads it on the rolled out dough before you put the filling on. She then places it all over the rolled dough. The addition of Parmesan and parsley together is amazing.

There are many ways to cook a roast, she showed you one but you can also sear it on all sides in a skillet and put it in a crockpot or in a roaster/dutch oven and put it in the oven, low and slow is key, the longer it cooks the more tender it gets. Good luck !

@rnupnorthbrrrsm61237 сағат бұрын
Sourdough doesn’t work “gluten free” but if you have a good fermented bread, your child can probably eat it, just start with small amounts. Adding other fermented foods will also help with celiac
@HowChandraDoesFood5 сағат бұрын
You can do gluten free sourdough! I make it all the time. There are two great websites for gluten free bread - both sourdough and yeasted. Look up, ‘The Loopy Whisk’ and ‘Bakerita’. Your child won’t even miss regular bread. I just had to switch one of my kids over to gluten free and had no issue.
