Charybdis is hella weird, she has a stim that doesn't really stim (no atk speed buff), her 2 is really good for chasing, initiating and the armour strip, her 3 has some great uses to just shut down certain ults but can't be used as a reaction due to the cast time, and her ult does potato damage unless you're building for ability damage. Which you really shouldn't. But hey, at least her clear is insane with mannekin

you may have played the new god by the time you read this, but her ult feels weird because it attacks like a slightly faster sylv ult. I think it is almost the same speed as arachne's old ult. You're right though: her ult is dope early levels

Charb's 3 is the best ability in the game. 0.5 sec wind-up for 3 sec un-targetable immunity = 3 sec invincibility with a Pele dash effect tied in. It's so fast that there is no counter in the game...maybe Kali stun could catch it but that would be quite the feat to achieve. I look forward to seeing you play her. Take my advice, rank the 1 first for lane clear + fight potential. The 2 is only good for applying the protection 40% debuff, then fragging with the 1.

Pretty sure she said the ult was odd because it has a weird interaction. Like the initial reach is thinner than the hit box it has at the end but also has a little pause where someone can juke out of it. Yeah it does stupid damage but it’s still something new to get used to

About what you said at the end: I had a team captain that was split pushing duo t2 as Horus solo while 3 of us were dead and only our mid laner was alive and they Phoenix dove our mid and then ended the game and his only comments were, “if you had played safe they wouldn’t have ended” we all quit the team after that

I've been running bracer in the solo lane ever since the rework and I tried it out in supp but it didn't feel good there I think it will be meta in solo because of the amount of boxing and because the lane is so small compared to duo lane so you can just put it in the middle whenever it's off cool down and you don't need to go out of your way to go in it too much

I played a few Charybdis games (also mast it's Ch like cow, not cheese) and everything about her is good, except for her ult. I never got a kill chain and it's very easy to avoid if you're the enemy and you're paying attention. totally not worth it imo

Yeah, he tends to be tanky and with a lot of sustain. Antiheal and penetration should do the trick. If you're the solo laner, just focuse on antiheal and another magical defense item should be enough to counter him in lane. Leave the job of actually putting him down to others.

07:35 nah, her ult rly isn't that great. It takes wayyy too long to cast so you can dodge it fairly easy if you are facing her. And it rly doesn't do so much damage that you can utilize the "scylla-part" that much. Usually it's better for the cc than for the execute. But her 3 is busted.. Beads Aegis for 3s, while still dealing damage and performing a knock-up? And oh yea, you can walk through player-made walls too. And all of it on a 15s cooldown (max lvl).. Thats kinda strong. But if you aware of it you can still out-play it too so.. Idk, imo Chary isn't that broken as she seemed to be at the beginning. Change my mind 😄

I've always been a bigger fan of wind demon+ poisoned star + DB if I want to go crit on iza. That being said for silverbranch crit specifically I've been going. t1 hunter's cowl -> t1 wind demon 2 hp pots + 1 multi pot wind demon -> poisoned star -> asi -> silverbranch - atlanta's bow - Cowl Now you'd probably say, only 35% crit is kinda weaksauce, and I'd agree if it wasn't specifically on izanami where your autos give you essentially 2x proc chance so you get double the chance to proc it. If anyone is wondering why I'd go crit first, it's pretty much the same idea as with why I'm okay with running low crit chance in the build iza having double the chance to proc per basic means that it becomes a lot more viable, also all my crit items aren't about procing big numbers rather procing the effect, so the extra mov speed and attack speed is decent early, not to mention it's easier to abuse it earlier than late when you're iza and still maintaining that free pressure in lane so that you can easily fish for crit poke safely while in wave.
