If like me you don't have a lot of spare characters, you can post a a single character up high west of the eastern waypoint and using griffon + rewinder to loot the 4 chests, moreover it's not rare to get more than 1 runestones in these chests.

Today I tried this farming method. But my other characters in same account cannot get loot If I had opened with one char in same day. So, they nerfed that?

Unfortunately, you can only open these chests once per day on your account. If you park a character at each chest though then it's an easy few gold for around 1 minute's work.

And for those that want more JRs and have more time can do the dungeons. Also, the Seitung JP is easy to do and its another JR.

You can easily do the middle 3 you showed on the same character by parking them very high up near the waypoint, and use griffon+the teleporter item from Sandswep Isles.

Great point about using the teleporter. I did think about including the position rewinder but I there have been so many times I've used it (in Bjora Marches) where I've fumbled the skill and had to make the long trek back haha. Definitely a great option though.

you can also do the SP JP by using a Mesmer, do the jump from 1 to 2, and then minic portal for 2 to 3, and portal for 3 to 4, glide across from 4 will easily get you to 5. jump on to the fire on 5 for a little more high, and glide to the final one, you will need jade bot for a lift, and you can reach the final one

That's around about right from when I tested it with the farming tracker a few days ago. Such a good farm for a few minutes of work.

how? you can open chests only 1x per acc and i didnt get single jade from echo chests. you can notice in vid too that hes not getting any jade.

@@critical-thinker666 Except he is. It's the very first item that drops in the chest, so you have to look *very* closely at the video, but it is dropping. Chest 2 he cuts the video so you don't see it, but chest 3 (the cave), you can see a flash of purple text and the yellowy orange icon. It's only about 8 frames that you can see it, but it is there. Depending on how many unusual coins drop, the visual for the jade runestone doesn't always show, sometimes it gets forced out of the item queue. You can prove this for yourself by going to your chat panel, hitting the down arrow next to the tab name, pressing the right arrow next to "Game Messages" and enabling "Inventory" messages in your chat log. Open a chest, and you will see that you get between 1-3 jade runestones from each chest (weighted toward 1).

@@critical-thinker666 What Pixel Hero said, I did a few days of testing with my inventory open (I keep jadestones in my shared inventory slots) and can confirm it was a guaranteed runestone each day.

@@critical-thinker666 g/hr is also used to determine the effectivnes of the farm. its not always actual g/hr. regardless 5-6g per 5 mins is huge

As a new joiner it discourages me to play knowing that there are thousands of player that parked and made absolute bank and are probably Uber rich while I will never get as rich as them :(

I feel your pain, making gold becomes much easier the longer you play the game. It costs a lot to gear out new characters. Fortunately this updated alt parking strategy gets you the same results as parking 15 characters at the jumping puzzle previously. 5 chests and the runestones have tripled in price compared to what they used to be. So this one is easier for newer players to do. I have more gold making guides on my list to take care of as well :-)

you are never rich in gw2, there are massive gold sinks in the game. even if they got rich they probably blew all their gold on cosmetics

less time, less effort? what could be even less then just logging on and open a chest right in front of you? the four chests you mentioned each require a bit more effort and time. but thanks for listing them. getting 5 jade runestones per day certainly helps in keeping the costs down

The upside is that these are now worth WAY more (almost 3x as much) since people are lazy and we can still get 5-7 really easy jade runestones in Echovald + Kaineng JP, it just takes about 8 mins of exploring the map on a single character as opposed to logging into a boatload of characters at Kaineng JP. Far more profitable and far more friendly towards those that don't have a bajillion spare character slots.
