Look in the menus to see which locations accept them then take them there like any other crop

I tried to use a 140 HP tractor to remove tops and tow the pickup, but the pickup didn't work. I suspect I need a more powerful tractor to do both at the same time. Right?

Nope, the only thing you do with cows in FS15 is feed them for milk and manure.

I honestly can't remember. If trains are on your map you can store them at the train station. Otherwise on the ground or keep them in a auger wagon or trailer.

Cameron Potts Look in your menu where it shows you the sale price of all your crops. That'll show you which ones accept beets and potatoes.

Shows you one what? Open your PDA and click over until your on the price menu. It'll tell you how much each location is buying each crop.

I guess you have to spray before you sow the seed .... otherwise grass comes up behind planter

Beets are OK to do. Seed is cheap and gives good coverage. Harvesting is easy enough with the smaller machine and separate cutter. You get a crap load of beets depending on how you sow. Use a small field, or use ridges. It's fun to grow all the different crops, and beets and potatoes are high yield, but lower priced. Beets sell generally higher than potatoes. Potatoes are a major pain in the ass to harvest with the smaller unit. Just avoid them. There are so many easier, less costly and less time consuming ways to make money. Playing on Xbox 360 you are limited by tool and vehicle slot restrictions, so you can't own and operate everything you would need for all crops, cows, sheep and lumbering.
