I just started playing this game on PS4 and there's a beet harvesting truck called Holmer exxact terra dos t4-40. But for some reason it won't work at all. It's a big red fire truck.

The T4 is a tractor, it’s attachments are for transporting beets, but you will need a harvester too

+ Bryan Coleman - Hi Brian and Welcome aboard! Yes, you are correct. The hired worker will auto unload potatoes. I was just pointing out that when you manually drive the harvester you will have to press the "o" key to "overload" the potatoes, whereas every other stock harvester in the game does it automatically. There are also mod harvesters (some of the claas ones) that also require you to press o to unload. But the workers will always do it for you :). Does that make sense? When I first played the game I thought the potato harvester was broken until I figured out why it wasn't unloading, lol.

I was under the impression you could collect the sugar beet tops for silage. That's what it is used for irl.

+Caspaccio There is a mod that causes "topped" fields to show as already fertilized. but there is no way to harvest tops for silage that I am aware of. When you run the topper, they magically go "bye bye"

I'm experiencing problems when it comes to fertilize the sugar beet field. Everytime I hire an employee to spray the fertilizer, he drives for few metres and then stops. Anyone can help me?

+Lucas Alves Is the field already fertilized? Usually this is what happens with hired workers when the field is done.

Lucas Alves Here is an easy test - Run the fertilizer by hand (no worker). If the field turns darker brown where you are fertilizing, then the field is not done. If it stays the same color, then the field is done.

+ConfuZed I did Course play for a while, but whenever you pop a single player game into multiplayer it erases ALL of your courses. After the second time it happened on Coldborough, I uninstalled it, lol.

Tested to Put wrapped bales in biomass today and it works too if u want to do it That way.

+JJRaz Yep, and it saves the "fermentation time" so it can go from the field right into the bins.

watched the potato one the other day, can you reuse potatoes that you get to replant the fields?

TheFavess Yes you can - just pull under the "out spout" for the potatos with your seeder and they will dump in.

That is a console thing. You can't . Due to limited memory of the console systems, they have slots so you can't max out your RAM. Its a fixed number.

The end up about the same - I would say cheaper sugar beet equipment is easier to use because its not offset like the potato harvester.

+Food Truck Gamerz Sadly, the game doesn't not give different fertilizer different weights. They all work the same. So for efficiency, you use the free ones first (manure, slurry) and then the paid ones.

This is a very late reply , but anyways the Maxtron self-propelled is in the game already but it's expensive. All of the other stuff is in the game too so nothing is DLC.

Does Ploughing increase the yield of the crop ?

Sadly, it does not. You never have to plow in this game. It does nothing but make new fields.

On the map, the green numbers are the ones you own, and the white ones are the ones you don't.

+LT.Walls awesome Hi LT! You can only seed one application. If you run the seeder over a section you have already seeded, it won't do anything, and it won't even use up seed.

Yes, Sweet Beets are grown in gardens and are for sale in the stores, Sugar Beets can be processed for Sugar
