The Terra Felis 2 and 3 are used when hauling immediately, storage, or distance is not practical via semi-trailer. The concept is also applied in game even if using multi-fruit silos. A great example is using the diesel locomotive to transport sugar beets from an HUGE far away field that is proximity to railroad tracks. The time savings are enormous due to capacity of transport.

Few days ago I've started playing seriously FS17 again , after 5 years of ownership and less than 60 hours total play , because I find it very hard to earn cash at beging (but this is a different discussion). I cheated adding money to be able to buy the best tools for every domain , so when I got to sugar beets I've bought this thing. From description I've understood that I need something to cut the tops first , so my plan was to use 3 Grimme FT 300 first , and than to come to harvest with this "combine". Said and done , but I founded it was not working. I've tried to reset the game , still nothing. I started searching and I come across this tutorial which clarified me what to use it for. Than I see at the end of the clip that the you're asking what could you use it for. Well , considering that there's no place to store beets and potatoes , you need to drop them on the floor if you don't want to sell them directly. So this tool can be used to reload trailers , as it's way faster than to load with belts or front loaders. I would call this a front loader/conveyor belt mix with an engine and massive working width.

I do struggle to see the point of this, like you say, looks awesome, but there are much better ways of getting the product in a trailer. even if you use a shovel, I suspect it would be quicker/easier/cheaper. It's basically a massively expensive, faster moving, more complicated, longer-winded conveyor! Thanks for the vid though :-)

Im playing the fs19 and at the moment cant afford the terra 3 and wondered does it have an attachable option for a trailer? Cause it is wider than the on with trailer included

i agree so it is a giant conveyor only good for beats--wasdtefull now if it did all grains would be different

It is not useless if you understand practical efficiency. Best used in conjunction with railway cars and the locomotive not semi-trailers when harvesting HUGE fields!

Useful in real life but made pointless in game because of map size.

MrSealyp: Nope, on youtube. But I lived half my life on a farm. We dealt with grains and cotton; grains you can store in silos until you hire trucks to transport to a depot. Cotton (like potatoes) can't be stored in silos so we would effectively leave them on the side of the paddock until we finished harvest. You would then hire a transport company with specialized machine to pick up the modules and ship them to the cotton gym (depot). I imagine it works the same way with potatoes minus the module building.
