See that's what the old(er) videos are perfect for. Way to little new Frithgar (because even a super famous and most important KZbinr like him has to spend time with his family around the christmas holidays) so you rewatch (for the third or fourth time I am not sure anymore) the older timelapses and relax with a daily overdose of pure first grade Frith. (best consumed with good headphones and the base pushed to max. Just bliss!)

When I first started on this Farm I did a lot of hay and silage work. I hired some retired miners who were hobby farmers to help me. I used follow me and used the three tractors and the Rodeo truck with the follow me. It would stop the bailer and the bale wrapper to drop them off automatically. These retired miners are all experienced Farmers so they could do a good job and I didn't worry about them damaging my machinery. They would only work a few hours a day but that was fine with me. I was in front with the mowers and the only problem I had is sometimes I would go a bit too fast for the other machinery. Occasionally I would look back and the guy in the rodeo had gotten behind which he really hated to do. Sometimes he would be doing 35 or 40 miles an hour around the field to catch up! But other than that things went really well.

I discovered that you can have the Kuhn square baler wrapper follow the baler, and the worker will auto-unload the wrapped bales (you might have to slow down the baler a little, depending on the volume of grass/hay -- I set the bale wrapper to follow by 20m and a right offset of 2.5m). I now have the baler follow the windrower and the wrapper follow the baler! I love messing with automation of tasks.

I do that on my own game when I play, however the reason I keep them running separately is so that we can see each task as it happens. I may well do something like that on the let's plays though!

Hey, did you know you can attach both the mowers together, put them on the front of the tractor and have the tedder in the back ? it saves a lot of time

Yep, however front links are not as strong as rear links and in real life that set up could very likely end up breaking something which is why you don't see it being used. Also why I'm not going to do it here!

Only round ones can be stored outside though, square bales need to be stored under cover!

It's part of the Kuhn DLC, worth buying the whole DLC for just the wrapper in my opinion, although there are other good things with it as well!

if you are going to use Krone big m you have to be carefull i set the folow me to drive ot and wenn i jumpt out of i startet flying and i got stuck in a tree and my money was ticking down with like 17000 evry secend so remeber to save before you use :)

You've got no idea what your on about with bales silage is never dried out that's hay...

If it's dried and then wrapped we call it haylage where I'm from, it's hay, but it's also fermented like silage so you end up with a cross between the two. Normal silage is still dried for 24 hours before baling or the moisture content is generally too high to make good quality silage in the bale. Hay is where you don't wrap it, hay is grass that's dried out and then baled, then stacked up together. The process of making it into hay, from dried grass actually takes another 6 weeks after it's been stacked.
