@Frithgar I have done a sugar beet harvest and when I did it I did field 26 and got upwards of 500,000 liters so just to show u hat if u do all the fields or more than furled 26 type acre fields, u will get a lot. Awesome Videos by the way.

Sometimes it does, sometimes it doesn't, almost always though it's an unintended thing and purely coincidence! I do try to time the speeding up at the start with the end of the song intro but it's a little hit and miss :)

This might be a late reaction but that seeder you use is called a ciltiseeder you dont need to cultivate or plow but i get why gou plow it is 10% more of whatever you plant exept for trees and the vaderstad seeder and the biggest one the amazone seeder is also a cultiseeder you can see that in the shop at the vehicle discription

Most of the direct drills in the game aren't actually cultiseeders (cultivate as well as drill), they just drill, but can do so without prior soil preparation. Therefore if you have ploughed the land first, they're not capable of breaking down the large lumps of soil properly and without proper cultivation you'll get a poor seed bed and very rough field. Hence the cultivating before using them!

I know you mentioned in one of your more recent videos about getting an upgrade to the CR10.90's at some point when you get to RSV. There is a Midwest 60ft combine header out there that I think would work quite well. It's typically an Australian piece of equipment but it could be very useful on such a large map. The only thing is that you'll have to use the Case 9230 as it is the only combine with a large enough auger to run the 60ft header. There is also a modded Case 9240 combine that has a large enough auger. Very similar to the 9230 just a slightly larger grain tank which could also be useful. And with the hints about the Big Bud I'm assuming you'll be getting that DLC. The Flexi-Coil cultivator, Seed Hawk air seeder, the Great Plains seeder and Brent grain cart are all American brands so I would love to see you use them at some point, which I'm sure you will. :D

Oh yes, the Big Bud DLC is essential to the RSV map I think! Thanks for the info about the bigger headers, I'll check them out. I'm planning to start with CR10's, then we'll go from there with out combines on the new map

The plan is to buy every field before we go, I also want to do a large sugar beet harvest as we've not done a large root crop harvest yet and there are reports that root crops have some issues in RSV. Once we own all the fields we'll do one final harvest of everything before we go, so at a guess I'd say 6-8 episodes left before we go. Hopefully we'll do all we need to do before the Big Bud DLC comes out.

The game will not let you sell digestate (or buy it). You can only use it as fertilizer. It is the by-product of selling sileage at the BGA.

Unless you consider Plant product and Animal product the same thing, THAT is the difference. Plus the fact that you can sell Pig Slurry, but you can NOT sell sileage digestate.

On some maps you can sell both, And I know ones from plants and ones from animals.. both they are pretty much a liquid slurry mix in the end. they are also used to fertilize the fields in the end..

I agree. I think Giants wanted to differentiate them for game balance reasons. Both can be used in a slurry spreader as liquid fertilizer.

hey frithgar if I was you you shouldn't seed the whole valley with sugar beets we have done that with friends and with 4 people we had a total of 250 hours of harvesting with 4 harvesters and tippers and at the and the price was 64 euro per ton of sugar beets

Very few seed drills can plant into ploughed land, not even direct drills, you need to cultivate it first, these drills can direct drill without any ploughing, but they aren't the right sort for breaking up ploughed lumps of earth before planting

RSV is glitchy conveyor belts don't work, the silage sites have problems, the roads are to small, the barn is hard to get into and the fences cause problems everywhere. not a fan of the map

Any issues you get with RSV, report them on the Giants Forums on the RSV thread under the modding section, the creator watches the forums and so will be able to see the issues being highlighted
