I haven’t watched further but you can do contracts with your own equipment just click the take contract button instead of lease equipment

I wish contracts counted towards progress using Steam. They bugged out after barely an in-game year and I have to own my own fields to get fertilizing and sowing. Not sure how I got the cultivating achievement. I didn't do many contracts, nor had enough fields to get it reasonably fast. Harvesting apparently counted (cut grass) but since I was on a multiplayer farm the achievement never popped. -.-

The reason that your fertilizer hectares weren't going up is because those fields were already fertilized. Good job though

That's what I thought. But look at 20:33 minimap, the field is red, which meant I needed fertilizer. I sprayed it, but didn't count. It was confusing to get that progress going, not gonna lie 😂
