The mower you bought is part of a combo. The one directly below it connects to the back and that one connects to the front. If you use this combination you will need the windrower to place all the cut grass into a pile. However the ones beside both called “Samasz” have the option to automatically windrow the grass putting it into a single row for easy collection for the baler. The 2 mowers combine to reduce the number of passes on your field by a third. The one you bought cuts the center and the one below cuts to both sides of the tractor. If you plan on turning the cut grass into hay then you need the Tedder to turn the grass over to dry out. Then a windrower to put it into convenient rows to collect. If you plan on turning it into silage then just collect the grass directly after getting it into convenient piles with your preferred machine and wrap it with the beautiful piece of machinery you bought yourself.

Hey Trev, since the newest patch you don't need to go to the river for water anymore, there is a windmill pump behind the shed where you keep your pallet forks/bale spikes at. Its free to grab water from there now. Also, the pallet forks can be used to pierce bales so you don't need to use the bale spikes if you don't want to, totally your call. Something else to consider, what I did in my playthrough is rented a plow and made the 3 fields into one big field, and yes the steering assist will adapt to the new area.
@mikeshepherd-hq4hoАй бұрын
Trev if anyone hasn’t mentioned yet. If you put skinny tires on your tractor you won’t damage the crop. Now if the implement has wide tires on it. Then it will still damage the crop. So if you can put the skinny wheels on the equipment too! Hope your liking the game! Loving the series!

Hey Trev just a little tip with the maintenance on the tractors. Any piece of equipment with over 50 hours on it will break down and require more repairs. So the newer the equipment the less money it’ll cost you. But it is a big charge up front to get new tractors. Hope this helps!❤

Hey trev I recommend you getting into soybeans, very easy to get into… exactly like wheat and canola except your sell price is almost double. I made over 130k in just 1 harvest on the beginning fields. Always keep an eye on the market and what crops actually sell.
@tanner343Ай бұрын
Those mowers combine together. You end up need both the small one on the front and the dual unit on the back or you will have a fab that the mower doesn’t hit! Love seeing you learn the game tho!
@dialtone4664Ай бұрын
The Samasz combination also automatically winrows the grass so that it is easier to pickup or bale.
@blaineford7277Ай бұрын
The water source on your farm behind the shed the harvester was in is now free. Use the water from there to water cows and give water to your green house. Also, try moving your ball to the bottom center of your steering wheel, it's a lot more comfortable than being at the top!
@kalmanherbak2735Ай бұрын
Windrower will put the swath in a row so it makes it easy for the bailer to pick up. If you buy the rear attachment for your mower, you can select the drop the swathe in one row and no need for a windrower. Silage will only be possible from grass bales.

Hi, just wanted to let u know that you should very often check out the used vehicle sale because it can usually have some really good deals, many of the tools and many tractors go on sale there for very cheap, at the cost of some of their maintenance, but they go on sale for around 30-60% off. Love your videos btw
@illstreamthatАй бұрын
I always use a small field for grass to support my cows. 1/3 of the field goes for grass, 1/3 for hay and the final 1/3 for silage. Cows don't need a lot and a small field will usually support a good amount of cows and it leaves the other fields for stuff to sell.
@Ivellios23Ай бұрын
Trev, the weeder you bought, it now works for me on the 1.3 update (for hired workers). Oh, if I can use a hired worker cor contracts, I will use a hired worker. Check hired worker section of options. They should have enough fuel for leased vehicles, so deselect that (there are rare exceptions, harvesters large fields on 4x maps and such). That could be where the money is going with the hired worker. It's not the salary because the salary pays on the hour.

Just a tip, you don’t need to weed the fields if you use fertilizer, you get a bonus if you don’t use fertilizer because then it’s organic versus using fertilizer and pesticides then it’s treated you won’t get as much for it at the selling point.

I know you enjoy the immersion, but if you're pushed for time when recording, or whatever, you can reset your tractor to send it back to the shop, then vehicle select to tele to it. it'll cut your commute in half when you're buying equipment.

The "wheelball" is also called a "granny knob" and was also a common item in cars before power steering was commonplace. I know this because my dad is a classic car guy and has a few, one on his 1964 Ford Fairlane 500 and a few spares in the toolbox.

ok so i have a tip to make ur grass harvest go faster if you get a tractor with a attacher on the front and put the mower on the front then put ur baler on the back you can mow and bale at the same time just make sure you have the right horse power. you might be able to change the weight on the front of ur yellow tractor at the store so you can do this

Now that you have this ball, you should put 1:1 wheel ratios. I guess that your wheel is direct drive and is set to 900 degrees, you should have 1:1 rotation of your wheel with tractor steering wheel, I guess 1800 or something like that should be better...
