So there is an important alignment needed for the driveshaft between the transmission yoke and the PTO clutch housing. There is a procedure using special tools to measure vertical alignment of the clutch housing and the transmission yoke. There is also horizontal alignment that may need to be adjusted by moving the transmission side to side. Last thing to check is to see if the PTO clutch housing needs to be shimmed to make more room for the new driveshaft. You may want to ask your dealer if you can borrow the tools to do all of those alignments. Deere started to do that on tractors after model year 2015 to resolve complaints of vibration and noise coming from the PTO.

@danielyoder59287 күн бұрын
Andy, that nipple should be available from an industrial supply house. You could get a heavier wall thickness to prevent it snapping off again.

That factory one looked heavier

@FarmingFixingFabricating Andy, schedule 80 pipe should have a internal diameter of about 0.125" (1/8") if it is 3/8" pipe. If it is 1/4" pipe it would be about 0.119" . It appears it snapped under vibration. I replaced a bunch of schedule 40 nipples on a rock crusher because of vibration. That cured the problem of them snapping off. Hope this info helps.
