​@FarmingFixingFabricating Exactly. I had a meter fail that was attached by the company with no filter. After disassembling the meter and cleaning it out, I put a medium pick-up screen in the tank. I put a 1 1/4 filter/water separator on the 500 gallon storage tank to capture any possible debris, moisture and or algae and seems to have resolved the issues as well as allows the ability to easily monitor the fuel flowing through the tank. The filter/water separator eliminated the need for a pick-up strainer, but it keeps trash from going through the pump. Of course whatever works best for you is what really matters.👌 You certainly go through a lot more fuel than I do.😂 Salute to all the Dads out there! It's still a man's world in spite of all the know it alls!😂🤣🍻🤪🤙

An electric pump. Good idea to have some redundancy. A priority I've always had with remote locations and battery powered devices is to make sure my setup includes easy access for jumper cables, so if the battery should ever go flat I can power things from whatever vehicle/tractor/truck is nearby. (always carried jumper cables, too)
