I'm in the US watching this story and it is so heartbreaking I don't know what is wrong with our people why we can't lift each other up and support each other especially when we doing good it's so disappointing that this man has taken his hard earned money to invest back into the community not just for farming but for also education and the people around him that probably that he has employed has turned their backs on him in Jamaica we call this "BADMIND" there is no rational explanation for the attack against this man He has done no wrong He's a farmer for God's sake what would cause the people in that village including the chiefs the kings and the queens to not support this man when all he's doing is good do you know how hard it is to earn 500,000 in the West and then to invested in Africa That's a high risk there's no guarantee to of an ROI where is the government the elected officials to support this man. This is not a good look on Ghana because those of us in the diaspora that's looking to invest in Ghana is looking at these types of actions we don't want to come and invest our money only to have a loss such as this The government needs the steps in because this is not a good look!!

I appreciate the civilized manner you've handled the issue so far bur my advice to you is ro take the offer that one of your viewers offered. Move your goats to a temporary shelter and then start making a lot of noise. Don't hold back ask for help, if you don't know the people in power ask to be connected. Contact the minister of Agriculture, your senators or lawmakers and even the president. Use your channel, experience and education to turn things around in your favor. This is ever so sad. Your government is not supportive. Surely there must be someone in Agri ministry who knows what should be done to prevent such acts of evil. It looks like everyone can lead and do whatever they want. We love our traditions but we need to know that we are living in society that has completely changed. I have looked at Fred’s equipment / implements for farming and other assets and buildings. It’s massive. There must be a compensation from the traditional leaders. You can’t just be expected to leave because dead people are supposed to have said so.

Something similar happen to a young ambitious senegalese like you with similar pedigree and who wanted to develop agriculture as well. He made noise. If the 'gods' are making the community cry and be in pain, and make them lose their means of survival, what are their role for serving the community? What is the form of these 'gods',are they spiritual or in human form? If they are in spiritual form, how did they speak and how did the humans understood them? Were those who heard the 'gods' speech, were they forbidden to reason with them ('gods')that the community the(gods) are after their welfare ,have their survival on goat-keeping,to feed them, fend their children, send them to schools, have their medical bills paid though goat-keeping?Are the 'gods' not seeing the abovementioned,if they do see,why should they (' gods') want to make their people suffer, are they not for the welfare of people? What is their role, they should be asked. If they are for the welfare of the people, surely they would not take the food out of their peoples mouth! Are they ('gods') served to make people to suffer and be in poverty perpetually, for them to be beggars, why are they not hearing the cries of the people, are they not supposed to be the 'custodians' of people? Are they pain-giving,make-cry 'gods',do they want to 'reign' over poverty-stricken people? What is their genuine role over the people in the first place?why are they there, what reason or reasons of hating these innocent animals created by The Most High? Are people not eating goat meat? Do the people become sick after eating goat meat? What offence had these animals do to people, are they harming people or taking their livelihood,or means of survival? Please, the 'gods' must provide sane reason or reasons of rejecting the right for goats to be on the land the Most High had put them to live in.Are God's people Who created them to suffer because of man-made initiation of the 'gods'? People, please these 'gods' do not mean well for the people. The Government wants to see people to live and succeed i am sure of it,hence its existence,it needs to intervene and regulate the laws that hinder her people to live better and prosper. This story of people crying is the saddest, for some had their livelihood and survival by keeping this kind of sustainable animals.I am begging the Ghana government, for we are aware that it is a good government, that made some of us to want to relocate to that wonderful land with good climate, with wonderful people (Ghana is one of the blessed land in Africa),but the 'gods' of that community bring chills in one's spine. To the honourable Queen Mother, please Mama, talk to the 'gods',your subordinates cry and we cry with them,it is a sad story that the people suffer loss of what they survive on, please Mama,we love you, your people love you and believe in you,we all are,we are on our knees Great Mother,a hen hides her chicks under the warmth of her soft feathers, you do too, speak to the 'gods',plead for your people,Mama, please and may your reign rise through the Hand of The Most High, and the land flourish to abundance as you do the needful.Long live honourable Mama,Love you and God Almighty loves more,

It's not right to say it's primitive. Just as in the USA, every city has its bylaws. There are always two sides of a story. Most of towns created these laws to protect the farming communities. Goats are one of the destructive animals to farms, but in this case I think there should be some considerations. They are fenced in He is helping the community and should not be punished like that. My advice to you is not to be discouraged. Just make sure whatever town you choose, go to the palace and learn what is allowed. Remember these laws were there before we had the central government to protect the interest of the communities.

You say that these are customs and traditions that have outlived their purpose? How come and why is it so often that African customs and traditions are now considered outlived? Why are we turning our backs on African traditions? An example, East Asia has a Feng Shui tradition, should that also be considered outlived? I am a big fan of all that you have accomplished, again, I only wish that you would have checked. If I am misinformed, then please accept my deepest apologies.
