Yes poultry farming is quite expensive now with little or no profit but we just have to find a way around it. If you are new, I wouldn’t advice you start right now but wait till things are a bit stabilized

Great video for capital expenditure & planning. However, using a 50 feet by 50 feet housing for just 1,000 birds is a gross underutilization of space. Even if you use an overestimated square footage of 2.0 square feet per bird, the minimum number of birds will still come to 1,250 birds. Ideally, the minimum square footage per bird is 1.25 square feet and that yields 2,000 birds. So the range of birds to house in a 50 feet by 50 feet structure should be a minimum of 1,250 to a maximum of 2,000. Any amount less than 1,250 is underutilization and more than 2,000 birds is pushing it. Just my simple opinion based on experience.
