Great content always keep it up! Though I think it is more important to tell the net profit factoring all expenses including depreciations, I have very similar stock and I know the net profit is good but not as it may be percieved by non-poultry farmers watching this video only.

Thanks for showing the numbers, Farmers around africa will appreciate this, also plan for a city outlet were u can sale your products directly to the public cutting out the middle man, thats the challenge i faced when i was in that business.

Fred, you raised $4000 but you actually made less right? It can be confusing for some who consider the $4k as profitable amounts when it actually is sales. What you MADE is actually less after you subtract your expenses. I would guess $1000. Pls clarify for us. Maybe your next topic could illustrate "Expenses to Revenue" from chicks to layers so we know when you breakeven as they continue to generate more money. None the less, it's an awesome and noble thing to educate us and to enlighten other farmers on good Bookkeeping. Many farmers don't keep records so they can't tell if they made money or they lost. Thank you very much. Much success.

#Honesty #Candour Respect Brother This was informative. I like that you detailed big and small, not just eggs overall. My brother would have loved this video, plus the math. Promising farmer accountant he would have made. Agriculture into livestock is our chosen path. Every year I work towards my own farm in my chosen location. I shall get there soon, a dream of my brothers and I. Do you have time to R&R ocassionally? Peace

Thanks for the enlightenment, good to see young farmers thriving through. However, in one of your videos (ref- kzbin.info/www/bejne/lXK5dat5odF_iM0 ) you did highlight monthly expenses like Feeds and Vaccines cost. Is this video only given us the revenue per month , or its just profit after deductibles like overhead expenditure?
