Has anyone taken the time to read the AG section of project 2025? The “modernization” of the USDA that she’s referring to includes eliminating all crop subsidies….according to them, crop insurance will take care of any problems….and concerning crop insurance, instead of being funded by the taxpayer of 60%, it will be funded at 40%…guess who has to pay the difference. And don’t forget, tariff is just another word for tax. Oh, how’s the citrus crop in Bakersfield doing?

It won't be good for awhile but it a result of bad policy not a Trump policy but a result of trade imbalances for decades

Trump wanted to keep in the good graces of rural America during his first four years and while running another four seeking re-election. Now he has switched over to pleasing the multi billionaires and has no reason to please anyone who doesn't contribute at least multi-millions to his coffers.
