Farmmac F660 pulling 36" bar farm mac 660 661 662 clone

We have the Holzfforma Blue Thunder G660 with a 36 inch chisel skip chain to go with our F2plus sawmill. We upgraded it with a STIHL 36' bar, STIHL chain adjuster kit, a dual port muffler, a STIHL decompression valve, STIHL recoil rotor and an NGK spark plug. The saw paid for itself with the first couple tanks of fuel that went through it !!!!

I picked up a FARMMAC F660V (the orange and gray version) and put a 32” Tsumura bar on it! Had a hard time deciding on which of these clone saw I wanted and had heard that NEO-TEC might be slightly better.. But then your Farmhack F372 video put me on the fence again 😅And then you got the F660VW and was excited about it!! Man what a roller coaster of emotions 😂😂 Anyways I love mine and I’ve done a couple videos on it. It’s way more saw than I need but I just wanted a large saw to enjoy. Keep up the good work Homie!

They are 100% compatible with STIHL.

Saw both and it looked like the g395 had an edge. I have to say my old "Bling Saw" 660 build done back in 2017-18 will eat the g395 I have, not even close. :) SO maybe a little tweak here tune there can get that 660 where is needs to be. :) ( Not going to tell u what let the ponies fly on bling saw, not readily obvious either :) My bet is you get there on your own if NITROUS doesn't distract u to that instant gratification path :)

Please explain the use of the decompression button. Is it a press-once button before pulling the crank ? (It seems impossible to hold the button down during cranking.)

Yes press once and when the saw fires it will pop back out from the compression

Hey Bodie, 👋. I'm looking for a bigger felling saw than my J2255. What saw would you recommend to get under 800US. I've been looking at a stihl 500R but I don't really like the balance. I have a couple big saws but I don't like the weight of them and autotune suck for my cutting style

I don’t think the white and carbon is the top of the line one. From what I was told with the neo tec and farmmac saws is that the good ones have better crank seals, ngk plug, Italian coil, and a walbro carb. From what I’ve seen, the white and carbon ones are the cheapest, and the pro ones cost about $50-100 more for the better items. If it didn’t come with an ngk in it, it’s not their top of the line one.

It’s amazing how much better some of those aftermarket cylinders time than those old stihls. Stihls port timing is 🤮 on most of their older saws
