Great videos John. I haven’t had chickens in 20yrs. Trying again. Been wondering what’s your take on feeding Broiler chickens wheat or barley fodder? It seem pretty good for our egg layers. Thanks. Keep up the good work.

Beware the hidden costs! Not that I'm doing anything right now on a large scale but I was thrilled when TSC opened a store on Long Island last summer. I was beholden to a very limited number of suppliers. TSC cut about $1.50 off the cost per bag of chichen feed and landed their new store half the distance from home as the next closest feed supply store. As you might imagine living on an island has its limitations on supply competition so between the per bag cost savings and a shorter distance to drive I'm looking at over $2.00 a bag cost savings. Additionally, with only needing a 50lb bag a month buying any more than 2 bags at a time and I can end up with older feed rather than fresh feed. Small time issues but when combined it's wise to shop around and take advantage of every opportunity to save. TFS....

Never really thought about the cost of delivery . But yes its real. I always just paid the feed bill. But it is something we need to look at. Any way we can to cut the cost will pay devidens in the end. Have a great day john.

Why can’t you just pick it up, I put 600 lb in the back of my Tacoma and could put the entire 2000 in, might drive home slow but won’t cost me near $101
