@@stylebeautylife-s6b yeah. I was so discouraged and stressed because I wanted to start with 1000 but couldnt get the help I needed and I was running out of money. So I left went back to America feeling down but now they have grown so much. I can't wait to get back. I'm patient and willing to do what it takes to grow to my goals. Your 50 will be 500 in no time.

I started farming in my family's backyard from food scraps since I didn't have a job, never expected that farming would be something I'd become so passionate about. I now have 7 chickens and 2 ducks in addition to vegetables and animal fodder growing in the backyard, I am working to create a permaculture system wherein to save space I grow produce on the same land that the birds roam, providing benefit both to them and the crops (the birds have cover from hawks, they eat pests, they fertilize the crops, they may eat produce that falls to the ground). Based in America.

About 2 months ago, I decided to expand my poultry business. I used to grow about 50 birds per batch at my backyard. Now I rented a poultry house that can accommodate 250 broiler birds and I am so proud of myself. I am still working now and I plan to quit my job in the next 6 months. Thank you Dr Daniel for your passion and influence PS: You didn't tell us you had gotten married. Congrats.

I raised 100 meat birds in 8 weeks it was hard and I did all the manual work myself I was only able to get 97 to live had a few set backs but don't give up I work 45 to 50 hours a week you can do it you just have to get a good feel for your time management this take time to figure out don't give up keep your drive going!! I want to start farming so bad but my reasons as why I have not yet started are Land to buy to construct on units for the bird is so expensive and renting land to put on a farm landlords get jealous of the structure and the idea by the time your first rented period is finished he will not extend your lease or stay on his property and yet you have put in your money to construct the unit now you have to look for another place transfer demolish the structure and erect it in another place. Secondly:- financial security some of us we have jobs that if we quit them right now to focus on the farm with the capital we have we can't run are farm to even its first birthday. So What I zeroed down to if any one can take my advice first things first I addressed my challenges and I decided for the issue of land instead of renting it let me buy mine. For the financial insurance am saving the small money so that I can build rental property first all this am doing is to get to my passion of farming there for me I have not yet started because I am still addressing my obstacles which I realized could kill my dream and goal

A peak roof would keep the hens from perching on the laying boxes. They would also benefit from more perches in the coop. Higher than the nest box so that they prefer perching there instead of on the nest box.

Thank my brother Daniel. I started a chicken poultry with 5 birds and i lost two of then due to sickness and i don't really which sickness killed because of lack of knowledge. The others layed about 15 eggs and harshed them but again due to lack of knowledge i lost the chicks and now it remains just 6 chicks growing. Am always following you to learn more on how to go about it. I suspect that i lost that number due to no vaccination. Please could you school me on this vacxination issue and other infos on poultry farming. Thank you bro.

We just closed on 18 acres in Texas and we are considering starting a farm! Why NOT yet? Currently it is all wood and forest and clearing land is very expansive, we also live about 40 minutes away, we would be ok to live on the farms but the schools are not great there for our kids! Right now we just started KZbin channel and posting process of clearing! But again, until we rent or buy a tractor it will be so difficult to clear! Right now we just want to do at least 3 acres to start! Do you have to live on the farm for chickens farm or you can feed them once a week? I really enjoy you channel

Dr Daniel... It Is all true... It is absolutely WILL DRIVEN Enterprise!! Here in Argentina, access to Land it's what is most difficult to access. Specially in the countryside. Real state development is taking land away from production.. here in the Cordoba mountine, they are tucks and tucks bringing food from the city to the village... And the land here is sold to build canines... I have 1 hectare +- and i produce 500 broilers and hold around 150 local chickens for egg production... YES YOU CAN DO IT. Only if you do not need to compit with industry I LOVE YOUR PROJECT. KEEP ON KEEPING ON

I have been desiring to go into poultry farming for about 2 years now. I haven't started yet. The first huddle I faced was getting land. I got a peace of land in the village about 70 to 80 km from the town I work and live. The next is the cost of buying chicks which is USd 1 per chick and USD 8 for point of lay birds. I wanted to start with just 3oo point of lay birds but the cost will be around 3000 usd just to get the birds. I am in Zimbabwe and I really want to go into layers farming.
